Annoying and dumb questions

we were all newbs at one point... I will answer some of the redundant cooking questions like how much weed to use or how much keif to use or hash per lb of butter...

the ones that really annoy me are the ones who post then wait 10 mins then freak out since no one answered... when they should have searched the board...
granted even I find myself lost looking for a post here and there

here is how I look at it...
I can answer and be a dick. and potentially loose that users knowledge on something else they may know I dont..and potentially even piss the user off at the board...
or I can answer it and hope the user sticks around to help another out.

i tend to agree.. i hate when someone responds with look it up dude.. for all the effort it took that person to type out look it up, they probably oould have given an answer them self.. if they didn't feel like helping, why make the op feel like an ass hat for asking the question in the first place?? idk, we all know that the search function on this site isn't always the best at times..

it's about attitude... if you start off a reply with "look it up dude" the person if automatically going to be offended...
if you can take the time to say look it up.. I am sure you can take the time to copy and paste the link to what would help them..

I for one am grateful to a handful of RIU members who took the time to help me out when I had no clue how to make edibles... heck I have even learned simple things like easier ways to roll a cone joint..

you can see an entire thread go to shizzle really quick once one person has the wrong attitude it seems to draw in the others with the same attitude the thread gets lost in a posts of FU's a weiner sizing...

I esp hate this when it happens to long time CONTRIBUTING RIU users... this just happened with one of Sunni's post the other day... made me sick

how do you get a giant yeild on one plant? Wtha od i do with hte moyne? as everyone around them goes to college.

lol I had two guys tell me that-The older the plant gets. The more thc you get. When you take clones??wtf. And then, they tried to tell me clones lose thc, every time you reclone!!!!!!lmfao.

I think I told someone once to fix his PC issues on here with the alt f4 keys... so yeah I was one of em but it was a joke and the OP took it as so.
