I fully agree. I suppose the rep bar/status titles (other than moderator which explains itself)... have confused me ever since I came to rollitup.
What are they for?
TokeholdCough, I was pretty much referring to the title of the thread. It's probably a dumb question he gets a lot. Also, I ask the dumb question of "what are those status and title bars for" and have never really gotten a solid answer. Only thing solid seems to be moderator titles and post count.
I suppose the reason why I'm confused, is I was at "stoner" at 4 or 5 bars, and at 11, same title, but... My top one changed at 420 TIME (post count) and then changed again to STONER at the 700 post mark. The lower one never changed though.
Tokehold, when I first got here, I was very eager to help people out with what I knew, until I ran into people that wanted to argue even if I pulled my reference directly off the RIU site. (article, thread, etc)
I got a little tired of answering the SAME questions over and over. peoples lack of search function or lack of ambition to do homework on the board will drive you crazy after a while.
If someone asks me for help, I'm there for em. I've learned to answer peoples threads with other threads in reference, just so I don't have to type the same stuff over and over

Starting to make more sense. I find that knowing and learning how the board works can help me, help others. So I suppose I'm trying to understand this fully before I try to explain to someone else that doesn't know how it works without having my information or facts straight.
I try to avoid posting poor advice or information.
