Should a victim of assault and attempted rape have to go public about it all to be taken serious? Should a supreme court nominee have his bid destroyed by an accuser that does not have basic details like time and place of assault known? The answer is mandatory body cams on all citizens. Welcome to the machine.

Oh, you mean the alleged assaulter and alleged attempted raper. Pretty sure he has not been found guilty yet. You must be very upset with our legal system that affords all accused a right to a legal defender. Poor you.

This isn't a trial. This is about the character of a man who is lying about what happened earlier in his life and whether or not he is the kind of person we want on the SCOTUS. Among the many who could be chosen, we shouldn't settle on a guy who can't own up to his own past and explain himself.

The rules are that all is fair in love, war, and politics. :bigjoint: So the left can defend a Ted Kennedy for going home to sleep before calling authorities to report a death caused by his failure to keep a car on a bridge. And the right can defend someone that may or may not be a high school rape attempter at an unknown location and time.

Nope, we aren't going to play the "false equivalency" game that you right wingers rely on when you have no argument.

There are (or should be) plenty of people to choose from who didn't assault a woman when he was drunk at a party. If he hadn't lied about it, there still might be a chance for him But no. He did it and he lied. So, not qualified.
