Welcome,

This is a thread to show off your airpot grows. I'm fairly new to the airpot revolution but want to find more people that are involved ;)

I believe Don was the 1st for the UK growers, my ladies are still in veg at the mo.

Feel free to post pictures and other info.

This LemonHaze will be vegged and trained for aprox 2 weeks before flowering. Its already had aprox 1month in the pot mainly under blue cfl but 400mh for a few weeks.

edit - got rid of my blue in the airpot today its round my mates now, not gonna have enough space and not keeping that strain, got another much more potent version. have scroged them both.

I have just caught wind of some people trying DIY airpots. I say let us unite and force this revolution forwards lol. Would be interesting to see if the bumps and dips make a difference or its just the holes. Guys and gals dont be shy, if ur a DIYer or a Superoots version feel free, no discrimination or bad vibes on this thread please. Viva la revolution....

How do you water these things?

Do you water them the same as other potted plants and use a tray to catch the excess? Is that all there is to it?

Has anyone noticed an increase in yield or stronger plant?

I assume you can avoid many root problems with these pots.

Someone please make a list of the pros and cons for these pots. I am very interested in these things. The only thing I don't like so far is that I need a tray.

I could use round trays but the cheap plastic ones at home depot suck. They leak and break quickly. Anyone know where I can get some well made round trays that will fit under these air-pots?

to be honest when all was said n done the difference between the two coulndnt be properly measured due to two pheno's being different, someone needs to do a clone side by side.

i very rarely see any runoff i water as close to as much as they need as i can eyeball. roots need air just as much as water ;)

I think Riu Already has an airpot club thread thing ... but i like the idea of a new one :)

I LOVE AIRPOTS !

I'ts that simple :)

I found them while researching my first grow , I liked the look of them and i wanted to see if the science behind them really worked , The video is impressive and i liked the idea that it was recycled plastic .

Easy to fit together and use and to store and clean after use :)

I ran out and got 4 to transplant my first babys into ..they loved them :)

Before i flowered them i used a double potting method and the roots just exploded into the new bucket ...it was crazy :)

Double potting allowed me to transplant in a bigger bucket with no mess and ZERO stress to the plant .

Not sure if they increased the amount i would have got ... But one on the plants reached 8.4 Oz ... But that could be one of a lot of different factors :)

I honestly love them and plan on getting the smallest ones to clone straight into .

Btw did you know that the company that makes them has won the contract to supply pots for every plant and tree for the 2012 Olympics ? ... Might see a price rise soon :-?

Airpots are sweeping the world and lots of people are jumping on them ... Go get some NOW !!

hey bro's thanks for the visit.

to my knowledge there was no airpots thread when i started this one but i apologise if there was :)

some good info there bro, i'm going to do a clone grow side by side at some point in the very near future treating them exactly the same bar the different pots.
