4 lst.jpg

Here's what I have going. 4 AKRs. Haven't LSTd for a while so I'm going to give it a shot again. The leaves look jacked up in this pic but they are all nice and green. This is going to make a nice blanket O' BuD.

Ah nice!! Glad to hear some reinforcement, lol I'm just kinda wingin' it!

Those plants look really good as well!! Blanket O bud is exactly what I am looking for too ;) I've been doing some very light lst from day to day. trying to tuck leaves under bud sites as well, letting them catch up to the main cola. I am incredibly excited to see how the next month and a half goes!

Very light LST. Haha. I drilled holes all around my pots and I pull pretty damn hard on those branches to make them even. I actually pulled the main stem so hard it snapped where only a third of the stem was attached. It repaired itself as usual.

Dont worry about being a little agressive with this weed.

Lol, see I was afraid of doing that, but I see a lot of people do do it and nothing bad ever happens hahaha, I was scarred, so I kinda pussy footed around while lsting haha.

I am finishing up a (largely bungled) grow right now of two Gnomos and my first AKR. The AK shot up into the lights so fast I finally had to train the stem down and it bent outright while I was trying to anchor it really gently; you're right, it was completely unfazed by the experience and is doing well. Ridiculous amount of thick white pistils though, like you showed in a pic a few pages back in this thread. Not used to seeing that but really looking forward to seeing how the high is. (I don't smoke, I always steep it in coconut or MCT oil and have edibles). It's so much bigger than the Gnomos in the same size pot!

Thanks for this thread, too, really want to try seeding soon.

Ya these plants are pretty amazing. AKR should treat you well. Do your steeping with the AKR. It would be great if you could pop back in here and let me know how it goes. I'm interested in making some AKR infused oil of some sort. I've only gone as far as making budder.

Well I've finally bred what I call the micro mini dwarf. The ultimate "AKR One hit wonder".

zz1.jpgz2.jpgz3.jpg

They don't take too much water. Maybe a total of 2 cups of water each during their life. Lighting in not a problem. They love to be 5-6 feet away from the light. Nutes - None required.

These plants look done to me. I will cut at the base and hang tonight.

Do you know the ppm of that mist spray?

ALso do you know if 250ppm cs is too high? the thing I dont understand is unless you control the amount of sprays you do each time, and use plants very similar in size, the ppm wouldn't be a good way to measure the dose because how would 5 sprays of 50 ppm not = 10 sprays of 25ppm once all the water is evaporated off and a little absorbedand taken elsewhere in the plant.

I can't edit the pic out of the above post. Anyway.... Young LSTd AKRs. At some point I ALWAYS have a leaf problem, but it never seems to affect the bud growth. My goal is to always keep it green to the end if possble.

I don't know the ppm of the mist. I can tell you for certain that every time I misted/sprayed it was different.

Will do, it might be another couple of weeks before the AK is done but I'll have a chance to try out some new decarb temps I read about here on the Gnomos first before I do extractions on the AK.

HAHAHAHA. These little buggers got left behind my 3 gallons in the shadows. It's one of those things that just happens. Im surprised these little guys actually did what they did. There is nothing there to smoke but interesting non the less. They went from seed to harvest pretty much on there own.

Only 1 out of 15? You better get the Tmist ready? lol

Just wondering - How long did the seeds dry out before you tried to germ? Keep in mind, I've only made seeds one time. I let mine stay on the plant for something like 3 months if I remember right.
I can not comprehend the outlined sentence. How could you leave it on for 3 months after flowering, pollenating and waiting for seeds to appear?
I plan on doing the same as you. You have motivated me, and I thank you for that. Although it's my first grow, and I ordered seeds only once, I feel I have chosen the best strains that I can ever have for myself, and plan not to ever order seeds again.

The issue I can not work around is,
¤You spray the branches: 2-3 week(?) (At the end of the first month maybe?)
¤CS taking effect, pollen sacks developing: 2-3 week(?)
Or did I count too much?
We are at 2-2.5 months in the plant's life, another month left maybe considering chop days. Is keeping the plant alive for another 3 month what you do? Is that even possible?

This should sound very stupid, but I am very confused regarding this. I would definitely understand it much better if I were practically doing it, but I need to know more, because I only have 3-3 seeds for 2 different strain.

Thank you if take the time to figure it out for me, and anyways just because you showed me/us how it's done. easy FREE LIFETIME SEEDS-lol :dunce:

noham,

Glad to help ya.

I'm medicated as usual, but I'll tell you what I did. It is not complicted at all.

Let me get this out of the way first. Regarding the seeds on the plant for 3 months. This was a side project and really didn't know what I was doing. I let the plant just dry out in the pot. It was about 3 months or so. I just didn't want to pluck the seeds too early. Figured the longer on the plant the better.

So here we go.

This is how I did my AKR autoflower.

1. Go buy one of these or make your own CS. You can find threads on here to make your own. I spent $20 and bought it off Amazon.

Tiresias Mist.jpg

2. When the plant is 5-6 inches tall, mist/spray ONE bud site stem (not the bud site itself but the stem right below it) one time a day until you run out. The bottle states 14-21 days. (I was a dumbass and sprayed all the bud site stems so of course it didn't last that long. BTW - I think I would have harvested more seed if I only would have sprayed ONE branch.) Pick a lower bud site.

3. The pistals on that bud site will turn brown/red whatever you want to call it.

4. A few weeks later you will have pollen sacs that will open. Can't remember exact times somewhere around 2-3 weeks.

5. Put a piece of paper under the bud sight and flick it slightly. You will see pollen fall on the paper. Again can't remember exactly, I think the pollen continued for a week or so.

6. You have some choices here.

A. Simply take the pollen which is on the paper and sprinkle it on the other bud sight pistals of the same plant to create FEM seeds of that plant.
B. Take that pollen and Sprinkle it on another fem plants pistals to create a cross of fem seeds.
C. You can store the pollen in the fridge for future use. Again you can find out how on here with a search.

OR you can do all three and have a party.

If you end up taking on this little project, please pop back in and let us know how it's going.

FYI - Pollen is weightless and will seed other plants. Be careful.
