I haven't read anywhere that Afghanistan is developing nuclear weapons.. Iran hasn't got all their money back- some assets have even been given away or sold on- Do keep up. I even provided a link..

Taliban didn't take over they reinstated themselves. They were the legitimate gov of Afghanistan before we INVADED them and set up a puppet Government. They had peace before we INVADED them. You do understand that America and its allies INVADED them for no good reason right? Just like we did Iraq.
They just took off the Afghan Army uniforms we provided and changed into their traditional garb. They were only wearing the uniform for a paycheck. They were still Taliban.

All that matters is that we're out of that shithole. Now they're killing each other instead of targeting Americans. The outcome was always going to be the same as soon as we left. Biden had the guts to pull the plug taking the heat for what was always inevitable and for that he should be thanked.
Agree, we should never of gone in.

Afghanistan..follow the thread. Try to not be distracted.
Remember stolen money. Just like the stolen money of Iran that finally got back to Iran. Just as the money will make it back to Afghanistan if the rulers there behave more civil like. I do not have the patience to school you along now. Bother one of the others.

I don't have an issue of us going in to get bin laden but as soon as he escaped with the help of the Afghani's that were supposedly helping us we should have left. Trying to change a culture with thousands of years of history was a fools errand.
Perhaps a small surgical team would of been better..or just a drone- after all it wasn't like he was ever going to see a trial and expose the lies. Just like Hussain.

Its not another countries right to tell another's what Civil is. Perhaps those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Its not your money its Afghanistan's money.
But its nice you have finally realised and acknowledge that the money is stolen.

Why do we get to decide who's civil? If it's their money they should get it. Give it to them and move on. We have no right determining if they're civil enough. It's time we stop meddling in internal affairs of other countries. History has proven we usually do more harm than good.

The rest of the world seems to have decided by not recognizing them. That can change. So as long as it does not happen in your borders anything goes? That would be a sad world to live in.

Have you seen what's going in in many parts of the United States? We should clean our own house before telling others how to clean theirs.

Wow. You deterriated quickly.
No, just gave you as much rope as I normally give people, at the end you have no redeeming qualities so no point in pretending that you might.

Taliban say failure to recognize government could be a problem for 'the world'
The Taliban say the United States’s failure to recognize their government in Afghanistan could lead to problems “for the world.”

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told reporters Saturday that the Afghan people have a right to have their government recognized by the U.S, Reuters reported.

“Our message to America is, if unrecognition continues, Afghan problems continue, it is the problem of the region and could turn into a problem for the world,” Mujahid said.

He told reporters that the “issues which caused” the 20-year war in Afghanistan could have been solved through negotiations and “political compromise,” Reuters noted.

No country, including the U.S., has since recognized the Taliban’s government, though some nations have pursued varying levels of engagement with the insurgent group.

The international community has repeatedly raised concerns about whether the Taliban would rule the same way they did when they last held power, despite the Taliban claiming they would not.

The U.S. agreed earlier this month to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan following negotiations in Qatar but reiterated that it would not recognize the Taliban as the Afghan government.

"Give us money otherwise we will keep abusing women (which we will anyway, God said we could)"

You beat me to it. Threats like that are signs of weakness. Fuck them.

We'll keep the legitimate Afghanistan government's deposits safe until a legitimate government says they want it back. Those people holding the guns -- they will have to wait and let legitimate governments of the world decide what to do.
