Believing something doesnt make it a fact. Belief is belief. Facts, are facts.

Most of Pashtuns support Taliban because most of Taliban are Pashtuns. Other ethnicities (Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks etc) majority of them dislike Taliban. So when nearly 30% of Afghans may support the Taliban but still more than 70% of the people are against them.

For the last couple of elections there was a large voter turnout. In defiance of the Taliban anti-government stance, people risked violence against themselves to vote. Against the Taliban. The majority of people desire a country governed by a democratically elected government.
The Afghan people do not want Taliban rule as voting records prove over the last few elections.

Depends how stoned and drunk i am..lol.

Isn't it funny how we have always called ourselves civilised but other cultures (often much, much older) are not. British to the Australian Aborigine. British to the American Indian. Romans to the Brits.
I will say that my criteria for civilization are farms, roads and libraries, or collateral advancements like the Mesa Verde culture with its end-Neolithic magnificence. Khan’s Mongolia was an outlier that still supported a centralized authority. Sorta stoned.

In countries with more than two electoral parties 30% is quite high.

So you think you should steal their money until they do what you say? Be easier to just invade them and make them do as you wish wouldn't it? Perhaps with the Isis fight against the Taliban we should invest and help Isis or even Iran. Perhaps invade pakistan who support the Taliban at the same time?

or we could just give them their money and concentrate on our own glass houses and stop meddling in the affairs of other cultures. If we had not of invaded Iraq for oil then we wouldn't have so many problems today.

70% of the Afghanis dont want Taliban.
If the Afghan people dont want the Taliban, and they were not duly elected, its not stealing their money. They will get the money when they hold open elections.

The duly elected president of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani does not want to give Taliban money, and the reason he left is because he was advised to by his cabinet. The previous president before Taliban took over in 1996 was killed by the Taliban after 4 years in the Indian Embassy. They breached the embassy, and killed him.

Ashraf Ghani is STILL the legitimate president of Afghanistan.

Of cause he is.. Sounds legitimate to me....

Ashraf Ghani has won a second term as president of Afghanistan, the country’s independent election commission announced Tuesday, more than four months after polls closed.

The commission said Ghani garnered 923,592 votes, or 50.64 percent, in the election that took place last September 28. Challenger and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah received 720,841 votes, or 39.52 percent.

Election results were repeatedly delayed amid accusations of misconduct and technical problems with counting ballots. The final vote tally was originally to be announced November 7.

Hawa Alam Nuristani, head of the election commission, had said previously that 1.8 million Afghan citizens voted in the election out of some 9.6 million eligible.

The election commission tried to launch a ballot recount in November but Abdullah halted the attempt, saying he wouldn’t let his observers participate. Thousands of his supporters rallied against what they said were fake ballots. The controversial recount had seemed set to favor Ghani.

Ghani and Abdullah head a fragile national unity government that was put together under U.S. pressure after both leaders claimed victory in Afghanistan’s last elections in 2014.

Ghani lived in the United States, where he was an academic until joining the World Bank as a senior adviser in 1991.

He returned to Afghanistan after 24 years when the Taliban were ousted by the U.S.-led coalition

US Rejects Formation of Abdullah’s Parallel Government in Afghanistan
March 10, 2020

Mr Ghani was re-elected with 50.64% of the vote, officials said.
But his main rival Abdullah Abdullah, who came second with 39.52%, contested the result, declared victory, and vowed to form his own parallel government.
Opponents of Mr Ghani said the 28 September vote was marred by massive fraud and technical problems.

Sounds like Abdullah Abdullah took one from the dumpsters playbook.

tRump, and his cronies also say he won, yet lost over 60 courts cases challenging the election, with many of the judges tRump appointees.
Sounds like a sore loser.

Dude tried the same thing in 2014.

U.S. warns Afghans not to form 'parallel government'
July 8, 2014

The United States yesterday warned that it would withdraw financial and security support from Afghanistan if anyone tried to take power illegally, as supporters of presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah rallied in Kabul for a parallel government.

Preliminary results announced on Monday gave Ashraf Ghani, a former World Bank official, 56.44 per cent in the run-off on June 14, but Abdullah immediately rejected the outcome, saying the vote had been marred by widespread fraud.

Abdullah has accused President Hamid Karzai, who is stepping down after 12 years, of helping to rig the vote in favour of Ghani, describing it as a “coup” against the people.

yep. Its amazing how many people move to a country from a country that invaded that country and become leader of that Country. Doesn't sound very puppet like at all.
That voter turn out was huge wasnt it? less than 2 mill from 9.5 million. Sounds very Democratic.

US warns
US rejects

Sounds so Democratic

Exiled Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani should have enough money to help him relocate somewhere safer than his home country. Ghani reportedly has a net worth between $5 million and $9 million.

Nothing to see here..

That's really not a lot of money
It is to me and what do you think is the avg net worth for an Afghanie?
What percent of Afghanistan is in poverty?

In Afghanistan, 47.3% of the population lives below the national poverty line in 2020. In Afghanistan, the proportion of employed population below $1.90 purchasing power parity a day is 34.3% in 2019.

And near on 50% of Americans don't want to be ruled by Biden.

and again 30% in a multi party democracy is decent.
Biden got more votes than any other candidate in USA history. tRump LOST the Popular Vote Twice.

Only Republican to win the popular vote in the last 21 years is Bush in 2004.
tRump got 46% of the votes, so that means 54% of the American People dont want tRump to be president.
3 people ran in the last election, and 30% would not have won anything. tRump lost at 46%.

And thank fk he lost. I'm still stunned the American people voted him in the first time. 30% Primary here gets you lots of seats in parliament and a say on the running of the country, with the right preference deals maybe majority...
46% is near on 50 is it not? (rhetorcal Q)

Just on another thought. How do we know that more than 30% of Afghanianies would not vote for the Taliban? Was their a census?

If trump got 46.8 and Biden got 51.3 The third guy didn't do very well. If they all did nearly equally as well then 33.4% would of clinched it. If there was 4 people/parties running...30% could be a clear winner.

As per vote count, 30% DID vote FOR the Taliban. 70% of the vote was Against the Taliban.
Also women have an even higher ratio of not wanting the Taliban to rule them. They have gone backwards, and lost most of the progress they made in the last 20 years. The Afghan women also pled to the UN not to let the Taliban have a seat at the UN because of their treatment of women, and girls.
Buy they all didnt do equally well. IF is a big word. What IF doesnt count. And like I said. No Republican has won the popular vote in 21 years except Bush in 2004.

but hardly anyone voted in Afghanistan and the results are questionable at best.

to be fair the Taliban have had to defend their country the last few years from invaders.

Yes, the Taliban are a shitty bunch of cunts. No argument there. Doing well in the cricket at the moment is Afghanistan.

Did Bush Invade Afghanistan? He likes a bit of oil and a good Pipeline did Bush
