They look good man, I always use a lil bit of grow nutes during the beginning of flowering, i would try that along with what you did the the AG tab and see if the yellowing go's away

FLOWERING- DAY 9 (DAYS SINCE GERMINATION- 33 )

She finally outgrew the AG hood. I came home to find the very top of the biggest gal within 1/4 inch of touching the light. I had thought I had another 3 inches or so to heighten the AG hood.....but I was wrong.

I've taken the hood off and have set ot to the side for some side lighting. I have 4 CFL bulbs hung above now......but will need more. I'll pick 4 more up and the hardware to go with them tomorrow.

I cannot get over the incredible growth spurt these babies have gone through since starting 12/12. They have already doubled in height in just 9 days! Amazing.

SICC- I think I will add some fert in on my next res flush. I have a bottle of Foxfarm Grow Big....may as well use it.

The girls looked a bit more healthy on top today.....but I have some shriveling going on near the bottom. I'm thinking lack of light down there....but it also could be the flowering process taking the energy from the bottom and putting it into the flowering? We'll see. Pics next post.

Have a great one.

lookin good, the bottom leaves is normal, you should remove anything that is 60 precent dead becarefull not to pull away the skin when removing use a sterile knive and leave smooth, you might want to consider taking some clones might be a little harder now but possible, it will safe you time and the short stature is something you would like from clones, the smoke will be better than the mother to, if you do take cutting from bottom branches, root for 10-14 days keep in veg another week or two then flower. the clones will be female. try to look for pre-flowers before you flower usally tell sex within the 4 week from germ flowering a plant to early sometimes can induce herm tendacies, in unstable gens. hope this helps, ....peace

Jonsey420- Thanks for the input. I'll be removing the struggling leaves tonight.
One question on the clones....Should I put those on 24/0 or more of an 18/6 light schedule? I'm planning on taking at least 2 or 3 clones. I plan on just growing enough to keep myself topped off....so I don't need much.

To the grow!

Things are going really well so far. As I said...the gals outgrew the AG hood. I have removed it and am using it as a back light.....good for the lower foliage!
I'm using 6 cfls suspended above the girls to get them through this flowering phase. They seem to like the light setup...and continue to amaze me with their growth and the amount they drink!

I did move the grow room to a bigger closet as the girls needed more room.
I hooked up the 4" in-line fan and the carbon scrubber filter. That has totally cured my smell problem. I was surprised how quiet the fan is....really nice for a stealthy grow like mine.

I think I see little white hairs on the big gal.....but I'm going to hold off on the cigars till I'm totally sure.

Anyways...here are some pics.

hey ya i would run 24 on clones keep humity high, if you cant keep hum high spray a couple of times a day. once they start rooting i spray once with a mild root stimulater like thrive alive b-1 some people say not to but iv gotten good results dilute even more than label says. you can put your lights closer it looks like, you dont want loose nugs. when they really start flowering get your humity down to 40-50 precent this will safe you a lot of problems, adding another interior fan will do it . you should also really look at your resivor to cath any problems such as root room, fittings and such, any weird smell, girls will need a lot of O2 in the water now. always stay one step ahead of them. and use your gut. looks good man

I took 4 clones......and will keep the best two of those when the time is right.

Out of the three babies in the AG...2 of them are for sure girls.....and the other has yet to fully show it's true colors.

These things are growing amazingly well. For today's update I'm just going to post a few pics. It's Friday...time to get out and have some fun!

FLOWERING- DAY 26 (DAYS SINCE GERMINATION- 50 )

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I lost one of them to maleness. Yup....1 out of 4 of them turned out with sacs.

That leaves me with three females.....and all of them are doing very nicely. I have 2 in the aero and the other in a pot of soil (I'm experimenting). All are developing some tasty bud. I'm buying a new camera tomorrow.....so will post better resolution photos then.

SICC-Not sure on the Wattage.....I'll check it before I post next. This is what I'm usingmostly top light:

2: 26W
2: 42W
1: 65W

and I'm using the AG hood as a side light.

Siht7419: Thanks! It's a good way to learn for sure. It's almost perfect for guys like me that grow only for personal use.

Buds are developing nicely and the smell is delicious!

More tomorrow with pics!

FLOWERING- DAY 29 (DAYS SINCE GERMINATION- 53 )

Finally as promised a few pics of the ladies beginning to bloom. Wife took my new camera on a trip,,,so you are stuck with crappy phone photos until she gets back.

I'm still flushing the res once a week.....and maintaining the nutes as previously outlined with the exception of also using 2 teaspoons of Grow Big as well with each res flush.

They are really looking healthy so far. Using the AG hood as side light has really made the underbrush healthy. So far I have no curling or yellowing of the bottom leaves.....although I expect it as we get more into the budding process.
