Did you see this post from fdd2blk?

ONE of his threads was deleted by the site owner because it was about his product. once he got banned there was no reason to continue to advertise for him, i assume. EVERY other thread of his is still here and still open.

so copy away. :bigjoint:

I took a post count hit too.

Johnny do you use Co2? I'm trying to get an understanding how to use this in a vented room? Where there are exhaust fans.

Or is this where I should be using a cooled reflector, and not worrying about exhausting the air in the room/tent?

You need a closed room to do C02 effectively. I don't run it but I would like too soon. My room is airtight and completely closed.

Hey everybody. New to the site. I've been reading ALOT of grow journals on RIU and I'm very impressed. I would like to start my own and I'm convinced that the Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics set up is ideal for me. But I do have one question... how loud is the unit? I've searched this site and haven't found that answer, although I may have overlooked it. I'll be growing in a GrowLab tent, but I don't think that will cut down on the sound too much. I'm guessing that it will sound similar to an aquarium running, but would still like some input before I decide to go ahead with the grow. Thanks for any and all answers.

Well it depends on what air pump you got..
Does anyone use this system in their closet? And if so, can you hear the system running standing outside the closet? It might sound like a ridiculous question, but I want to get an idea of how loud the unit actually is. I'm guessing that a DWC system running an airstone would be quieter than a bubbleponics system. Any thoughts? Thanks again to anyone who might have some input. Can't wait to get started!

Well Bubblepoincs is a DWC system with a water pump and feeder tubes. You can figure out which you want, seems to be a touchy subject around here recently.

If you where to buy the system from SH, no you wouldn't here it behind a closed closet door. I take that back, I dont know what air pump you would be getting, but if you just get the Tera Whisper 60 gallon, dual outlet, no you woundn't here it.

wow, they deleted the main SH thread huh? ... that's pretty lame...
Jonny - Man, that sucks.....and there went over 1000 of my posts as well. I am very disappointed in the mods for deleting it. I learned a lot from it. WHERE did they go, I'd like to follow? Can you tell me which site? Not familiar with most of them.
Thanks in avance

Hey do you guys worry about siphoning from your air pump? They all have the warning that says the pump should be higher than the air stone unless you have check valves? Has this ever happened to anyone?

So tell me more about the regulator. I would assume one of the gauges tells you quantity left in the tank, then when you screw the screw in on the regulator to dial in the amount of pressure you want to come out.

How is that gauge metered? How does it read? When you screw the screw in, what indication do you get out of the second gauge?
Yes, one gauge tells how much is in the tank and on mine the other is a flow meter. Mine is for small areas and only goes from 0-.5 cfm (0, .1, .2, .3, .4, .5 with half marks in between). A flow meter has the little ball in the gauge that rises to the desired level when adjusting the screw/nob. You need to figure your total cubic feet of your grow area and match that for regulator size. They sell regulators to cover different size grow areas. Sounds like you have a room, so finding a regulator should be easy for that kind of coverage. Getting regulators that work for the small areas, like mine, are very limited for choices.
