When I add the nutrients to my tap which is normally like 7.something it brings it down to about 6.0 I add a tiny bit of ph down and it basically sits steady all week untill I change the rez again....I'm really happy with it so far

Is your PPM on the tap water high like mine (350ppm)? With Flora series I adjust (3-4 ml of down per tank per day) a bit everyday until it settles down but starting in the tank at around 6 it only goes to about 6.4 as they eat and drink. I let my normal target of 5.8 to 6.0 in veg run to 6.2-6.4 for flower so i don't adjust very much when in deep flower which is about where I am now. As soon as I see bud it def go with 6.2 or better. At that level they get a little less N but more P and K.

Does anyone have experience with an Ez-Cloner?

How do you take the rooted cutting from the foam puck, and get them into rockwhool and Hydroton cup?

I borrowed a friend of mines co2 setup for about a week and I noticed a difference...Too bad I couldn't hold on to it a little longer

How big was the tank? I've seen people talk about 5 pounds and 20 pounds, I'm trying to get an idea of how long they will last.

I understand that it is all relativity to the size of the grow room.

How much does it take to get levels up in a small grow area?

II think the tank was about 15 or 20lbs...How long they last I guess depends on how much you are opening the bottle up...I didn't have any way to measure the ppm in the air but I would open the tank for around 2 hours a day only slightly and I didn't come near emptying his bottle...He uses it for filling up smaller co2 tank so it didn't have a timer or a regulator

I run 20# cyclinders in about 96 cu ft. I go thru about 1 and a half per grow. I use a regulator that goes from 0-.5 CFM and never have to go above .18 CFM to reach 1000-1500 ppm.

Do you use a Controller or just a timer?

Also, if you have an exhaust fan, doesn't that just pull out all the Co2 which would make you need to run that Co2 all the time? In a tent for instance.

For right now I am just using an environmental controller (basically a timer). Someday I'd like to invest in controller/monitor. Yes, it runs full time while the lights are on except it shuts down when the exhaust fans run. My box/cabinet is about 4'x4'x6' so it takes such a small amount I don't mind wasting it. Costs me $12-$15 to fill one 20# cylinder and I start trickling it in about the 2nd week of veg. until the end. So for a grow I got about $20 in co2.

I am in the process of making a new cabinet where I'll add a sealed, vented reflector for a better way to deal with the heat. Although, I will still exhaust the cabinet, on a timer setting, to deal with the odors. Right now though it works in my favor cause you can run higher temps with co2.

So without a monitor you really have no idea what your Co2 levels are.

I'm just thinking that if i was to get into Co2, I would want a monitor.

The tank it self and the regulator are not that bad in price, especially if you really can get a 50% increase in yield, but it is the monitoring gear that adds up.

I used one of those cheap co2 syringe testers, with the glass tubes, to find out what ppms I was at with what settings on my regulator. This gives me an idea of an adequate range. Yes, I want to add a controller/monitor but like you said it's costly. I am hoping to add it to the new setup within the first grow or two. But for now I figure something is better than nothing. Ebay has the cheapest prices on controllers/monitors I have found yet. Start at $350 if one considers that cheap lol.

So tell me more about the regulator. I would assume one of the gauges tells you quantity left in the tank, then when you screw the screw in on the regulator to dial in the amount of pressure you want to come out.

How is that gauge metered? How does it read? When you screw the screw in, what indication do you get out of the second gauge?
