A Newbies First Grow

Now that I have confirmed my 2 ladies, and they are in preflower, I am entertaining the idea of adding some blooming nutrients to aid in flowering and bud production. This is outside of my knowledge base, so I am looking for some suggestions.

My 2 plants are 4ft and 3ft. Soil and water have never been an issue in my garden, as Lake Michigan has taken care of that for me. I just want to optimize my flower and bud development. So nothing complicated. Perhaps a Lowes run type product??
Just my two cents, but I think it's way too early for bloom nutes. What I do is continue with veg nutes for first 3 weeks of flower. {I'm talking real flowering, not pre-flowers} A 50/50 mix of veg and flower nutes for 2nd 3 weeks, and all flower nutes the rest of the way.

Good luck.

I have been doing a low grade combo of Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom. No issues so far, and very minimal applications. I have been thinking of holding off on the Tiger Bloom and just going with the normal application of Big Bloom.

I have done TB at 2tbs per gallon, applying .25 gal to each plant. Three applications so far. Think I might just go Big Bloom until flowering is consistent, go to 50/50 and finish off all flower nutes at the end.

I don't spend real money on growing, so I had to Google those products to see the npk. I see big bloom is 6-4-4. That is more a veg food. Tiger Bloom is 2-8-4, more of a traditional flower food.

Holding off on the TB until you are into flower would be fine.

WTF???
Found this on a tomato plant leaf this morning and i almost shit myself!! Just left it alone, figured it eats pest that eat my crops maybe. The way it was looking at me, I wasn't messing with it!
Lmao. .....you city people crack me up! That is just a dragon fly....and their primary food of choice is a mosquito.
Dragon Flys do not generally eat and hunt their food on a plant. They usually catch their prey mid flight.

The last few days the dragon fly's have been really thick at the house, flying just above the {too tall} grass. Might have something to do with my mosquito population.

Normally dragonflies do not look like aliens around these parts. That was triple the size of what they normally are here.

I love those things...If I could get their eggs and hatch them sooner I would. A lot of them in my garden too
Have you ever watched Large Mouth Bass feed on them. They come up out of the water. It's quite the show.

I used to have a tree stand near my pond. I would spend more time watching the fish feed than looking for deer.
{some of these are stripers}

I have seen bass, walleye, northerns and muskie do stuff like that while fishing the northern WI chain lakes.

HELP!!!!

My son and his friends threw an empty fan box into my garden and it bent my baby girl and ripped two new branches from the stems. Not big by any means, but my babies. Said they were throwing it at a rabbit trapped in my garden. Box laid on her for under a minute.

Plant stem is fine. She is standing up on her own. Just two branches ripped clean from the main stem.

Do I need to do something to those two wound areas??
