Any caterpillars getting into your buds? They've been driving me nuts, picking out 2-5 every day it seems like.
We don't have the pest issues that some states do... we don't have to deal with mites either. Not saying we don't have worms and caterpillars here...but I guess they are more interested in other plants.

Not a one. Never see them on my property, actually. I did have squirrels dive bomb my remaining corn and damage a couple of shoots on my smaller girl. Lower ones, thankfully. Now my garden smells like vinegar and pepper to keep them off my shit.

I am one more squirrel misstep from using live ammo on them. Just don't need cops called, obviously.
Well, that right there is your biggest blessing as a new grower. There's nothing worse than finding dead parts on your beautiful buds when they were perfect just the day before.

Thanks, man!
It has been a wild ride since May. Now it the end of September, first night in the 40s last night, and all my work and worrying is about to payoff.
You will get there. And when you do, have a blast!

First outdoor Indica grow - Purple Kush. Started indoors until the weather warmed up. Used LST and coco with coco nuts. In flush and harvest stage now. Any tips would be great as I've had no success with cropping out on the my first 3 indoor grows. Definitely a 250W HPS isn't good enough, that or the different nutrients I'm using (was on DNF A/B) , now using Canna Coco A/B. Ph was around 6 in the past, now closer to 5-5.5 (hard to tell with dropper colour chart)

I'm on something like day 3-4 of just watering. She's warm indoors under insufficient light right now due to rain, but tomorrow i'll let her be outside in the sun again. Temps around 20 now during the day, 4-10c at night. Each cola seen has about 5-10g on it, some far more, lower branches less. The sun was likely the only difference between my past grows and current, but I have to admit I'd used PH down and did more frequent flushes (monthly) with this plant and as mentioned the change in nutrient brand too. Do my leaves have to t urn yellow before I begin harvesting? How long does that take in coco typically? This plant almost throws your back out carrying it. I'm guessing close to 35-40lb, 3.5' tall.

Pretty sure this is his first grow... you would get answers from people who have grown in coco if you posted in the outdoor section.

I think my big girl is getting close to harvest. Although not there yet, I am thinking 2 weeks or so and she will be ripe. Amber hairs are become more prominent, and my latest scope check saw almost all milky. There were a handful of trichs that were starting to turn amber, but not enough for any sort of ratio. Still mininal clears, so that is where I get 2 weeks from. Rain finally stopped, and i have kept standing moisture to a minimum with the hippie lettuce shake on my babies. Very healthy with no signs of rot or mold.
I know there are some veteran growers out there who would love to give me a prediction on when I can pull this beauty. Let's hear it!!

Seeing about 85-90% cloudy triches today on multiple test areas. The ocassional transitioning to amber. I know I am close, but the pistils are telling me to be patient still.

I still think I have 10-14 days...

Looking good. You can't be too patient at this point. I'd for sure let her go another week at least.

I almost chopped a plant, decided to let her go longer...she started to purple up on me and is looking amazing now that I've started harvesting her.

Good luck.
