fdd, explain silver and gold fuming to us if you could.... I'm just getting started in the silver/gold fuming (probably silver, given golds $1220/oz vs silvers $18/oz). Applying it on the clear tubing is easy, but how does the color changing aspect of it work? While you smoke it? Over time? After cleaning the pipe, will the colors revert and then go back again while you smoke it more? What techniques have you found best to make the most dramatic effect?

i made these by coiling color onto the end of a blowtube. then i blow it out and shape it. excpet the mustard and ketchup, that one is an inside-out. they all came out exactly 4 inches. i found that kinda weird. i never once thought about the length. i was focused on shaping more than anything. yet they are all the same length.

I like the glass-mustard-ketchup one .. is it still available?
btw its just impossible to find a glass piece to buy, searching trough these posts for some images takes a lot of time.
fdd, it would be cool to make a locked disscussion where only you post pictures with your artwork and pipes that you are selling and in seperate thread everyone could show what they want. ;) what do you think?

i go thru everything so fast that by the time i take pics of it and post them up the item has been sold. i carry my case with me whenever i go places so it's hard to keep any type of inventory. someone last week was asking about a couple slides. they were taking to long and i was out selling glass to shops. a shop owner bought the 2 slides someone online was interested in. i sold them to the shop owner because he had cash on hand. dude online got pissed when i told him. i tried to explain it is "first come first served". he still came off with attitude and made it sound like i fucked him. i just don't have time for 3 days of emails over a 25 dollar slide. i tried in the beginning and ended up with 20 pipes in my drawer put "on hold" for people who never came up with the funds.

fdd, i'm not one of "those" guys .. to be honest, i'd pay today for my purchase, but i still dont know what payment methods do you accept and how much it would cost to ship it to my country (europe). I still didnt receive answer from you to these exact questions.. paypal would be great tho..

right now i dont see any pipe that i'd like .. i like these bright ones with yellow, orange and so on with sharp color changes not these blured ones :) btw, what is the average weight of one pipe and how much do these cost?

i take paypal. i ship world wide. my pipes are thick, i don't weigh them. they start at around 20 and go up.

all this has been stated over and over again. in this 1500 post thread. :)

well.. what can i say, I saw this thread and i got interested .. i read about 7 pages of posts and didnt find answers on these questions .. all i saw was you answering to one dude to discuss these questions over PM. thats when i PM'd you ;)

sorry for bothering this much tho .. i'm just a pothed trying to buy a nice piece of glass. you dont expect us reading all this thread first showing interest about buying your pipes, dont you? :roll: bongsmilie
20+ is a fair price. does shipping to europe cost as much as shipping to states? (its 5$ if i'm not mistaking?)

I'll keep on waiting and checking for updates .. I will PM you when I'll find something that I like if thats ok with you :joint:. dont get me wrong tho, I like almost all of your pieces but pictures before these spoiled me, I'm ready to wait bit more to get something I really desire :eyesmoke:
