and the lower middle of the canopy is yellowing out slowly
is that normal?

two leaves from middle of canopy
bud 4 week (5).jpg
all the leaves look like the left one yellowing out real nice
whats up with the one on the right? only one like that on the plant
just tryin to dial in on deficiencies

From what I know of ScrOG, the bottom of the canopy that doesn't get any light will start to yellow and die off. Most people I know that use this method gradually trim off all foliage under the screen as flowering progresses. Sick looking plant though man. You have one pretty lady.

Wouldn't worry too much but you might consider giving them a bump of nitrogen with their next feeding. They still like a fix now and again through flower to keep the foliage healthy. Plants looks great PT!

so check this shit everyone
i got regular yellowing of lower canopy lookin norm
but then spread right out over the middle of the top of the canopy im getting this browning comin from the middle of the leaves and spreading
i believe its lack of nitrogen since i have cut it out completely but tell me what you guys think
1119112235.jpg1119112236a.jpg1119112234a.jpg1119112234.jpg

weird right
also the center of the canopy is like real light green like too light
is this bc the lights too close? its like a foot away but temps are good
its hard to tell in the pics with the light but the canopy almost looks like bleached in the middle
what do you think?
light too close?

My guess is mag deficiency, Sort of what i had. Odd yellowing starting in the middle of the canopy. Its not the lights, if the lights were too close first thng u'd see is damage to the pistils, like on mine. I'd say give her a shot of calmag if u got any, shud green her up in no time.

Have a peek at the plant problem post macknak posted on pg 18 of my journal, i'd say ur describing a late mag def.

"Unlike a magnesium deficiency, nitrogen def will start from the tips and work its way back to the leaf node. Nitrogen and Magnesium get confused. The best way to tell them apart is, nitrogen deficiency starts around the tips and works its way to the back of the leaves, where a magnesium deficiency will cover the entire outer part of the leave and make the entire leaves yellow leaving the veins to stay green"

Hard to tell under HPS, try grabbing pics with the light off under the flash. The very first thing I do whenever seeing a deficiency is to calibrate my PH pen and check the runoff PH to make sure I'm not locking nutrients out.

The pics from the 16th are not mg deficiency though IMO. Definitely could be mg def in the latest pics, but a mg deficiency typically starts around the out perimeter of the leaf and works its way in with a pattern of discoloration that appears different than N deficiency. The latest pics do appear as if they could potentially be heat stress given the location of the stress on the leaf. Just my two pennies.

I suggest either start using cal mag every other watering for the first half of flower, mix garden lime into the soil at transplant or top dress after transplant. One of those three and at least you'll know the plant has it when it needs it, I usually use 1 Tblsn per gallon of growing medium of lime. When I first started growing in FFOF my plants would ask for nitrogen, cal and mag EVERY cycle at 2-4 weeks until I figured it out. I've used both CalMag and lime and both work well. I really like the simplicity and use of cal mag because it also provides a small N boost all in one and I can just continue with flowering nutes. The downside is that I prefer to grow mostly organically and calmag smells like toilet bowl cleaner lol. I tend to use a little of both usually.

Another tip for temps.... Frequently people will just throw a thermo in the tent where ever and monitor their temps thinking they're fine... What is important to monitor is the temps directly at the plant canopy. A thermo on a bamboo stick stuffed in the substrate and placed in the middle of the canopy at cola height will give you accurate readings for temps that are very important. They will tell you what adjustments are needed and will also insure that you get the healthiest plant tops and densest colas come harvest time :D

EDIT: I just looked at your last pics and the temps said 86 which is pretty high. I see some eagle clawing too which is another indicator of transpiration being effected by temps.

For some troubleshooting, a closer investigation can help you dial it in.

I like the whole thing...how loud is that cabinet with all of those fans?
shit with the door closed and the fan running a little over half power its pretty quiet
if you are outside the room the closet is in you cannot hear it at all.

well i fed earlier and added 2.5mg N as opposed to 0mg
next feeding i will swap that out for 2.5mg MagiCal if deficiency gets worse

I just think its so weird bc the browning starts in the center of all the leaves its showing on
havent found much info on that

shit 86F aint really THAT hot.
here this is what it normally stays round. and thats an inch or so above the canopy so its actually hotter than canopy temp
1120110104.jpg

anyways i slid my plant out for a sec into some proper pic lighting
like to see u scroggers do that! lol
but here's better pics of the deficiency

and the rarely seen back side of my girl!
1120110113.jpg1120110114.jpg

like i said most the leaves are slowly yellowing out real nice like these

lilindian could be right on, considering the spotting on some leaves, overall yellowing and leaf tips curling upward I would dose them with some cal and mag pronto. Bud development looks good PT.

looks good man. I use big bud with fox farm and i run it in week two and three with good results. I noticed with it my buds are more compact and dense. by week four I have rock hard nugz everywhere.
