My thinking for why it's not deficiency goes like this:

1) NPK and MG are mobile elements, which means they will be leached out of the older leaves and distributed to younger leaves- thus nitrogen, phosphorus and magnesium usually show on the older larger leaves down the bottom first.
2) The dieing, not cholorosis (yellowing) really doesn't fit the profile of the other elements to be deficient.

If you are using less fertilizer than recommended then it could mean that even though you flushed something is going wrong still in the medium and it is retaining too much nutrient.

Dude did you look at the photo's? The tips are dead- low light makes it evenly pale but never dead until the thing just drops off at the slightest touch.

lol I didn't even notice a screen. Its really not doing much of anything, you might consider anchoring something in the box, dropping it lower to spread it out. That canopy would produce a lot more if you opened it up for better and more even penetration. The bottom half - 2/3 of the plant won't produce much for smoking, the foliage looks too thick for more than a few inches of penetration. Just my thoughts, either way you'll have a nice yield of potent buds. Good luck, I will be watching the fun.

i would like to open my canopy up to get the fattest buds that i can
my screen really has been swallowed up but im gonna go try and find it

so opening an already large canopy really makes that much of a difference come harvest?

Sweet! The more you can open it the more bud sites can gain access to your lighting. Check out the link My First LED Scrog... The plant is not the healthiest b/c I fried it when I moved it into my new tent but the latest pics should show you what I'm trying to say. You'll get your kongers from the most vigorous stems still but by opening it you allow the smaller bud sites to compete for the same amount of light that the top of the plant is receiving which means more dense buds :D

Keep in mind that this is my first scrog too so I'm by no means an expert but I've been playing around with canopy control for even light penetration for a while now. Your plant is a beauty! Shes set right up for being opened up for a wider canopy. I'm watching with interest, she has a lot of potential!

The only thing I would be concerned about is the fact that she's already 1 week into flower and whatever new exposure you have will be a bit behind but I still think it would be worth it. Then again the fact that she's already starting to stretch means you can open her up even more efficiently.

Food for thought! I'll be watching, I love me some scrog!

so i was opening up my canopy and i think i fucked up my shit
i was pulling apart one of the two main branches at the top of the main stalk
and i heard CRACK
right at top of the stalk split about an inch down the middle
1101012108.jpg1101012107.jpg

i pulled it together with some wire and tied it tight
right when it split i could smell the sweet lemon scent of plant guts
so will this fuck my shit up????

anyways i trimmed and spaced out for like 2 hours and heres the result

so as for opening up the canopy this is as good as its gonna get
1101012114.jpg

and idk what the rule of thumb is for trimming after flower is started but i cut off a shitload

Yeah dude that looks sweeeeet. I can't really see the damage that is done from the break but its definitely in a critical spot. I hope the damage doesn't hurt you too badly and she recovers well. Make sure you wrap her tight too. I like to use pipe cleaners when I get a split and wrap the piss out of it all around it with a stake in the soil, like a splint.

I definitely love what you did here. A member here gave me a fine lesson about lollipopping and he said "Prune it until you feel like you've done enough and then prune it some more". lol, I think that girl is gonna be loving you in another week if she heals up. I like your moves.

Seems cutting back N helped with claw leaves
Any advice on feeding during flower
should I be keeping coco moist or let it get almost dry(water everyday or every other)
should i stick with the 9mg of bloom or feed more P,K?
i also have some BigBud I would like to add
but when? and how much?
and when to cut out N so I get a good bud to leaf ratio?
so many questions
not enough answers

She looks very good PT! I'm not going to comment on your feeding schedule because I'm not familiar with it yet but I usually continue feeding my girls N through the first 2-3 weeks of flowering gradually tapering it off. Probably want to throw them some calcium and magnesium by some means as well since my girls always crave for it during weeks 1-3 of flower.
