6 happy happy girls

See how happy they are:mrgreen: I just love it when the girls are full of joy like this.

I started this grow 5 weeks ago with 10 unknown seeds. They vegged for 3 weeks until 5 nodes appeared and have been on flower cycle for 2 weeks. During the first 4 days of 12/12 4 boys were born and they were plucked. Within 3-4 more days the girls grew some preflowers, pretty ones too.
My grow cube is dinky (2ft by 2ft by 4 ft) and always has been, but by using rectangular recycling containers with holes drilled on the bottom I was able to squeeze more plants into the cube this time (usually only 4 fit). 2 plants per container with a plastic wall between the plants each having their own soil and food supply to feed from.

I added dolomite lime to my soil mix to maintain soil ph at 6.5-7.0. The light is a 400 watt hps which i used for veg as well. I began bloom and flower food at 1/3 strength the same day they were switched to 12/12 and increased doses until they were able to handle the full blast. The food they eat at full blast now is flora nova bloom 4-8-7(3 tsp per gal), roots organic hpk 0-5-4 (3tps per gal) and molasses (3tsp per gal). They eat and drink every 4-5 days or when ever the soil dries out.

The strains are unkown but when i rub the main stalk and then sniff my fingers a couple smell very skunky and the others smell somewhat citrus like with a hint of skunk, mmmmm. I have grown strains I knew like ruderalis (very consistant strain) and k2 (inconsistant strain, still an f2 hybrid)a few times but this one is a fun little mystery.

Btw the soil I used this time around is Black Gold npk is .5-0-0.

Let me know what ya'll think and any suggestions from the pros are welcome. Kathy

Hey Hearts you popped in for a look. The stalks are super thick this time around. I just went and measured and 5 of them are 20 inches tall and one is 17 inches. They were all 5 inches tall w/ 5 nodes when they went into 12/12.

of course i jumped to take a look we were talking almost everyday til i got popped.which is why i wasnt on forever cause i had no tree growing!!:)lol but wow what a stretch, im guessing thats from using the hps during veg with the heavy flowering spectrums.are they just seeds you found around the house because they look nice..strain unknown but deff look better then the indica leaves i have and see from bagseeds.a

They are bag seed this time around. I got the seeds from a collection of bags I saved over the past year or so. All 6 plants could be different strains because over the year I had picked up some white widow, ice, northern lights, hash plant, kush and purple erkel. One of them could be what a grower friend called "work" because in that specific grow (18 plants) he missed a male and the whole group got pollenated. The grow was 2 strains widow and hash plant, so a nice blend could come from this.

thats a pretty nice selection of breeds, so this grow is as all sensimillia grow :)mmmmmmmmmmm, i cant wait to see them develope more. i wish i could get strains like that.. would you have any clue to what mine looks like im not too sure of the strains since all the good stuff has seemed to disappear around here unless i buy it with no seed pffff

stems are fucking beautifull shows you what good soil will do, that black gold is expensive but worth it for a small room. Try some excellofiz co2 pucks made by supernatural and i think that strain is rock bud, if you get super solid golden nugs thats what it is

Nice grow! I started using Flora Nova on my last grow and I am very impressed with it. The strain I have been growing for a year now (unknown clones given to me) won't tolerate the nutes as hot as you are mixing them but they definately love it!

Not sure what strain you have going but it sure is a beauty and hope it is excellent smoke. I haven't grown enough strains side by side yet to know the differences in appearance. If any of the plants i've got going end up to be an ice or a widow those i'll know because of the whiteness. The only strains i've grown side by side were ruderalis and k2 and those i got bored with after a few grows. Just enjoy what you have going. Have you tested a nug of it yet?

anddd how come i cant get a picture up like eveyone else

Thanks Dazed. This is the first time I've used Black Gold, always used Sweet Earth until the store quit carrying it. I found it on sale for 4.99 a bag and it was originally 7.99 so I picked up 4 extras for the next grow. I'll do some research on the excellofiz co2 pucks. Switching or adding things to the grow environment uneases me a bit because what iv'e been using so far works great everytime without fail, when the girls are good life is relaxing.

Kinda muddy stuff but damn good food. Are you growing in soil or hydro? It is good for both.

kind of i wound up finding some fuzzy white mold on part of it after it had rained for almost like a week, pulled that off and cut the mold off that, but then i think i microwaved it then put it under a light to speed dry and the smoke got me high but i couldnt remember the taste, it wasnt harsh at all really just still moist. i mean i have all these airy buds in the middle that are swarming with thc crystals but they arent anywhere heavy or thick looking or big at all i was thinking when i harvest to just cut the buds off and let the light shine threw to hit the lower ones but wasnt even sure if it would still grow due to shock.what do you think? and can i leave it in the ground for next year or will it never have a chance to regenerate due to cold winters?

I'm not sure about rejuvination of plants it seems easy enough though. I do think that the freezing winters would have a bad impact on the ability to regenerate new cell formation because they are so warm blooded.

well the regenrate thing is no worry for me now i could always just grow a new girl one that i took car of from the begining this time.what about cutting the buds off and letting the underdeveloped ones get some sunlight? and the nutes in that soil are pretty good you say? you so they probably sell it at a hydro store?

You can always cut off the ready buds and leave the small ones for a bit longer so they can beef up. I've done it in the past when i got tired of spending money on it. You should be able to get flora nova at any hydro store. It is produced by General Hydroponics so most shops carry it. However it is not organic so if you like all organic this one will not get you there. There is a line called Roots Organics i also use this as an added bloom booster the npk on this in 0-5-4.
