All 5 Querkle are up and one of the DQ but all of the GF died. It was my own fault, I didn't get them into the soil like I should have. I will go ahead and germ the last 3 and this time PAY ATTENTION to what I'm doing. That was a BIG loss. I will start my new journal within the week.....

i dunno which different thing ive changed to attribute it to but this round of DQ is the bomb much better than last time all but one of my 6 were the sweet sweet smelling pheno, but only a couple gave me the racey edge

I still have one clone of the DQ6 that hasn't rooted yet but I
'm not giving up hope on it. It was the best smelling weed I've ever come across. It truely made my mouth water it smelled like mango's so much. It has a nice high also but the 5 is way stronger.

I go for the hands on part of the test in 2 weeks and should know in a few days if I made the cut. I have a cousin in the union and he's given me some inside on what they are going to test me on. Even though I knew most of what he said it's nice to have the edge lol.....

After loosing the 4 GF I put the last 3 in a papertowel today. I hope I don't fuck these up. I also put in about 20 of the crosses I made with the males I grew out late last year. We will see what comes out of them and if they are worth a shit. I won't use any of the males from my crosses as I want to stay as pure as I can by using only males from breeders. I will be ordering some more seeds within the next week as I am running low on breeder seeds.....

Don't know yet. I want to remember where they came from and don't concider myself a breeder.

A trainwreck pheno and a cindy pheno. What kind of rocket fule do you think I'll get from that?

On a serious note I've been battling something that's killing my plants. I haven't seen any spider mites but am seeing round eggs under a scope and seeing what looks like honeydew secretions on the leaves that are dying off. I am also experiencing some deficiencies that are killing my plants. I stopped buying ocean forrest and picked up some 707 soil. That's when all hell broke loose. It killed both my DQ mother plants. I only have 2 clones of 5 and only 1 unrooted clone of 6. I just put the JTR mother in to flower and found it is about half dead. It has a mag def. I have noticed a little white bug in the soil called a springtail. It is said to be harmless though. I had none of these problems in 2 years and after switching soil they are abundant.

I have put an offer in on a house and will be moving again shortly. I don't want to strip the soil from the roots because of the shock the plants will go through may kill them but I don't know what else to do about the infestation and bad soil. I sprayed with neem oil and dish soap tonight and gave the plants some water with epsom salt in it. I don't know how long they will take to show signs of recovery but hopefully not long. I don't want to take infested plants to the new house so I will just kill off the ones that won't make it. I hope I don't loose the DQ5 or the 6 but mostly the 5. None of the others are to special to be replaced as all of subs gear is exceptional but 5 is a level above as is the GF which is suffering badly right now. I lost all 4 of the previous GF and the last 3 that I put in soil still have not surfaced and I'm afraid the shit soil has killed the seedlings but I will give them a few more days. I'll get some pic's up later this week to show you what I'm talking about.....

hmmm tough call, but id probably take a good bunch of clones and isolate them before the move go back to the soil you know or COCO!!!! my thinkin being that even though the bugs are harmless what do they feed on? your soil is my bet and thats taking goodness from your girls,

i had springtails in my coco last month, i killed off three affected clones and they are gone now. apparantly they breed like rabbits and come in the thousands

There are more than springtails in this soil. I pulled my last DQ5 out of flower to re veg it. It was in for almost 3 weeks and barely had started to bud. I put it in my old soil and will be moving it outside in the sun light for a week or so. I can't believe the amount of damage these little fuckers have done. I have caught and killed several winged aphids or nats. I don't know which. I have lost 4 seedlings and tonight when I was looking at them closely I could see little bugs crawling up the stems. I am going to fog with some bug spray and fuck what happens to the plants. I have several that have about 3-4 weeks left in flower but the flower room doesn't seem to be infected as all the plants in there are in the ocean forrest soil and not the 707.

A word of warrning to anyone who is thinking about going to 707 soil!!! Please for the sake of your plants don't!! It is infected and not sterilized. It has reeked havock on my garden and will probably wind up putting me back to square one after it's all said and done.

I was fucking pissed beyond words at my hydro guy for suggesting the 707 but blame the company for providing shit product. I will be picking up new soil tomorrow and he is taking back all the unused soil and giving me credit toward Ocean forrest so I feel he redeemed himself. He also threw in a small bottle of neem oil.

I hope to save most of the plants but won't be surprised if they don't make it through the shock of the transplant. I have to move the grow out of the house in the next week as this house is going on the market. I'm hoping this will give me a chance to recover from the damage. Everyone of the 7 Grapefruit died. I don't know why. The seeds germed and the tap roots got 1/2 an inch and I put them in soil then the fuckers died. Never growing enough to break the soil. Don't know if it was the soil or old seeds. I don't even see the grapefruit listed for sale anymore on any of reefermans sites.

I'll try to get some pic's up to show the damage.....

Perfect time to move on to new strains. Thinking that subs shit is a little over rated. When I close out my journal soon Ill go into it in more detail.
