5 Gallon Bucket Bubbleponic N.L. x Haze Grow

hey dwc, if u get time can u post a few pics of the bubbler/res/bucket? just so i can see how its made cos ive got an air pump and bucket spare from when i had pet carp,, so i fancy macking 1 myself,,

++++++++++rep if u can m8

Here is the setup

1 rockwool cube for seed or clone
1 4 inch airstone
Some 1/4 inch airline
1 check valve to prevent water from going into the pump and starting a fire possibly if the power goes out
1 air pump, i have 2 for more oxygen because i keep my roots submerged
5 gallon bucket with a lid
i would get a ball valve 1/2 and a 1/2-3/4 adaptor.
cut or drill a 1/2 hole at the bottom side of the bucket to add the ball valve to the outside and the adaptor on the inside and use some o-rings, but make sure not to tighten to much that it flattens the o-rings otherwise later you will get leaks.
foil tape to wrap entire bucket and lid to keep all light out
use hydroton pellets for a medium but rinse them like 10 times 1st
the last picture is the setup i had at 1st you can see a wood table to keep it off the ground. i recommend that so you can drain the bucket easier, i took it down and am regreting it
check out the pics hope this helps:joint:

so my lower branches are growing alot, they are so long and so many fan leaves that the light is not reaching the bottom. she is 8 weeks old now.should i trim so the branches up top get more nutes or just leave it alone:confused:

just found out about this product called bud candy, it has everything in it from molasses to grape extract. heard good things about this stuff hopefully it works for me

so my leaves are drooping and some closer to the light are yellowing. other than that things are looking good every morning i wake up it seems a little bigger. raised lights a little, it should be a fun next month and a half its over 6' 5" now and seems to be drinking about a gallon a day and i keep adding 1 gallon tap water that has sit out of course for 24 hours. today i added a small batch of nutes with that gallon of water today and plan on flushing res when i get the bud candy. only was available in canada. check out the pix

So Everything seems to be going good last grow with soil i used 3 flourescent lights and decided it couldn't hurt to add them on the walls. took down space blankets because i felt the white walls would work just as well.
White walls are best. Good job there!

nights have been cooler and bottom branches are growing good. reduced nutes to 1/4 strength of flora series recommendations, in another week i will give it full strength. IS THIS A GOOD IDEA OR NOT??? :?: the plant is about 3 and a half weeks old was going to switch lights to 12/12 but am going to let it get bigger 1st check out the pics:hump:
At 3 1/3 weeks you should be giving it full strength nutes. You can flower when the nodes start alternating. I'd think about 4 weeks at most. Also, if you have lots of verticle space, you can veg them longer. They will double their height or more during flower.

What Week Should I Switch The Lights To 12/12 :?: Filled my 5 gallon up so its to the bottom of the net pot so all roots are submerged plant seems to be less droopy now

You need an airspace of 1"-2" between the bottom of the net pots and the water or they will die.

ppm is at 860 ans ph is around 6, ordered a digital ph meter to get a proper reading
That's good. Keep your pH between 5.5-6.5 (5.8 is optimum.) When you flower them, bump your flowering nutes up to 1000-1200

so i am about 2 weeks into flower and i wake up every morning and have to move the lights up. i keep tying her down and she grows right back up to the light. should i keep movng the lights or start pruning?

:?:so i have a couple problems first is bottom leaves are dried out to the point they are crispy, second is the fan leaves at the top are yellowing, third is she keeps getting taller to the point where i cant change the res anymore without damaging her, see pix, other than that i have been using the bud candy know for about a week and i see alot more pistils excited to start the next grow after this one so i don't make the same mistakes
:bigjoint:I appretiate any help anyone wants to give me

so the bottom branches haven't been getting much light and all the leaves started to fall off so i cut them off. also i noticed that most of my fan leaves are dying is this normal:?: i assumed that the salts have built up too much so i filled a 5 gallon bucket full of pure water only and let it sit for about 5 minutes dumping clean water from the top of the netpot to flush any salts off the roots. also my ppm has been too high so i flushed res and now its at about 1700. pistils and flowers looking great everything else though not so much, hopefully the flush will fix that. i will post some pix in the morning

here are some pix ph is good any tips

so here are some pix, the first few are to show the pistils and flowers, but if you look at the last ones you can see my bottom leave on the last 2 branches the leaves are curling, and the new growth is bright green, but the ret of theplant seems to be doing great. the occasional yellow spotted leave i will see, but it gets pretty warm sometimes. bongsmilie:eyesmoke:

Those look like you'll have some nice buds soon, nice job. I have three nl x haze babies vegging now under my 400 w hps and the growth is impressive.
