- Day 37 -

Plant # 1 has started developing buds, which is great. I also picked off all the dead leaves that are curled and dried up. I was thinking about plucking off any yellow or discolored leaves that are on the bottom of my plant. They are not getting any sunlight anyways, so I figure if I remove them, the plant will put more nutes etc. into my buds and growth rather than old decaying leaves. What do you guys think? Or should I let them die naturally?

Im not sure, it would mean more growth into the buds but if you cut off too many it may stunt the plants growth :( Try tugging the leaves *gently* and if they come off easy then well keep them off :P If they don't then i could leave them but if they is only 1 leave or maybe 2 then cut it off.

There is max 2 yellow leaves on each plant, and some have a 2nd set of leaves that might be yellow soon, but is light green for now.

Add a little N or cal mag to your nutes and the yellowing will stop
If I could afford anything more I would. Right now all I got is the tiger bloom and big bloom. Im just gonna tough the yellowing out. They are doing perfectly fine, just some fan leaves dying. I think the problem is going away though due to the N in the tiger bloom.

Yea I could have lowered the light but ahh... I just wanted to get it underway, going great though.
all you need is a few hooks and 2 lengths of cheap chain from any hardware store, prob 2 bux. lookin good otherwise.also use some blackstrap molasses that will help everything. 2 bux at grocery store. mix 2 tblsp in per gal.

I thought the same thing with my last grow (tough it out)...it got worse and I had to throw her out....Just get some lime from home depot or lowes, a 40lb bag costs like $3 or $4

I was going to flush with molasses for the last two weeks. Are you saying to add it now with my nutes to get rid of the yellowing?

- Day 39 -

Happy thanksgiving! I gave them a good watering this morning. I had to leave for home for a few days so I soaked em and filled the trays. I have been thinking though, my plants are over 5 weeks old, and yet, they dont smell skunk or anything. All of them are budding but it still doesnt smell like a skunk yet. I thought it was supposed to stink up my place but I stick my nose close to the hairs and all I smell is nothing or a plant smell. Will they stink in the future? Or can you still have strong non stinky marijuana?

it all depends on strain. you have bagseed. kinda a mystery. some smell early and lose it in flower. some dont smell much at all then in flower the stink it up.

subscribed, great job man. They are looking great. Im about to switch over to 14/10 to 12/12, at first I thought it would possibly shock my seeds (that I have also collected as well) so I wanted to veg for a little bit, but not give it to many hours of light..kind of stay close to the 12/12 schedule. I think my next one I will do it from the start. Did you use the 400watt from right after planting? I would think it would fry it for some reason.

edit: im using cfl so it could be different, I might need 12-16 inches away at first (I would assume at least so I wouldnt fry the seed). Im also using lots of lst, worked out great in my other.

Lmfao...yep you are going to fry the seed with CFLs...get those CFLs 5"or 6" above the soil when they start and when they reach about 6" tall, have the light ~3-4"

As soon as I had them germinated for about 3 days and the white ends were out, I put them in the soil and set the instantly at 12/12. Took them a little longer to sprout but this is what I got. :D

- Day 45 -

Hey guys, I know it's been a while, but I've been real busy. When I left for thanksgiving, I left my babies in a scary situation. I came back and 3 of them had some heat stress. 2 Got it pretty bad, you can see in one of the pictures. But they are all doing okay now. I hope to start flushing with water and molasses soon. I am pretty unsure about when to start though. Enjoy the pics!
