Some pre chop photos.

Comments between me and my friend growing it.

Lights work great all of them do still think the one you built works the best, next run will be badass

6lb is what I want, bigger planters and more co2 switch the lights around and 6lbs will be easy

They all look really good in different ways, like that skimpy plant was so dense and the bud looks so good and the pp looks really good, alien looks good IMG_1664.JPG IMG_1667.JPG IMG_1665.JPG

there are countless distributors but this i found on the fast way:

for example https://kingbriteled.en.alibaba.com/

the problem at alibaba is how i use the search field in the right way :)
Yeah I know. I've ordered from Jerry at kingbrite before.
Add up the shipping of heatsinks then add in what it's worth to have a completely wired driver with dimmer already tapped and mounted cobs and holders. Not much benefit in full DIY over the Timber Grow Light kits that save you hours not including the weeks you'd wait and hassle of any bad or broken parts. If you got all the time in the world then full DIY is cheapest for sure.

Why wired driver? They sell Meanwell driver

So does Timber, it's just pre-wired so it's pretty much plug-n-play.

With a full diy you have to drill/tap the heatsinks (hour or two +parts), measure/cut/strip/attach/heatshrink wires yourself (hour or two +parts)

If you plan on building a lot of fixtures you will get really fast at drilling/tapping and wiring (bonus if you already own the tools).

I forget where but @doz and I showed the price difference between a 200w timber kit and the parts shipped from Jerry and it was about $110 more expensive to order from Timber.

Is having someone else do the tapping/wiring worth $110 every 200w? i dont know! maybe it is to you?

Burple has a bad wrap. But these CLWs are pulling about a pound with 400w. So shit works. I think it just has a bad wrap because of all the hurt feelings from people thinking a mars or other shit LED will perform to its titled wattage. These CLW are pretty awesome from what I'm seeing.
not to mention the increased nutrient uptake under efficient blurple...........you need to bring your A game imo

My Mars 2 panel grew just fine, the problem (for me) was more that diodes started burning out on my first grow with it. Anyway, looking good, BM9.

What was your dried and trimmed GPW? Mars uses epiled so that's making less light and more heat than HID. But showing truth to spectrum targeting, you liked it....other than the reliability.

Would like to see one of your good grows and the actual wattage. Because I do believe in burple. Because it works. Just add white

I'm not sure, I cut my losses and replaced the panel with Citi COBs. But yes, I absolutely would have kept using it had it not started to fail so quickly. It was all experimental so I'm not worried about it, that's half the fun for me. I may even test out a custom panel in the future using similar spectrums.

The ones under the CLW I grew. Or started really. Month and half and did the manifolding for 4 tops. It was in a super soul mixture that appears to have taken them to the end minus some bloom booster at the end. So for me the money spent on the super soil paid for itself for sure.
