1st Real Grow Deisel Ryder, Vertigo, and Pandora

hey guys, im gettin really close to ordering my last light hood. the 1000watt, but i thought i'd take some shots of the tents and seeds, couple weeks and i cant start. i already have a 400 watt hps/mh w digital ballast, im gonna use ff ocean soil and their 3 pack of nutes. as this is my first grow i want to keep it as simple as possible. i have 2 tents but with all these autos i have, i think my first grow is going to be in the 4x8 tent with about 12 autos under 1000watt. in the 5x5 i will start veg on the red cherry berry and a few of the freebies. i will have 1 800cfm fan sucking the air out of both tents through the light hoods and passive air intakes with home hvac filters filtering that air. what does everyone think? not a bad set-up to start?
im open to all advise and opinion.

Looks good thanks for sharing. I got some Sagarmatha double diesel ryders on the way, don't know when I'll start those seeds though. Got some barney's V kush in the ground now. Those Vertigo's look delicious. Where are you sucking your intake air from? Your refreshing the air in the tent, not just venting the hoods, right? Or are you using C02? Sorry about your slow thread start. People usually wait for plants to jump on board. If you post they will come.

the one big fan will suck out both tents, from the exhaust hole to the light hood, and leave the hood open, so it sucks all the hot air out of the tent, there are many passive intakes and with the negative pressure this fan will create in the tents, im banking on it bringing enough cool air in from the bottom of the room

checked out your youtube vid of your attitude order. that was nice. I haven't ordered yet so naturally I was curious. I'll be making a closet grow, small and personal. Will follow your journal. I'm new here and I've found that everyone is so creative. It's inspiring to say the least.

allright mate good to see someone else having a go at those paradise seeds vertigo/pandore i started all 8 5 of the 1 and 3 of other cant think which anyhow 2 didnt make it so im left with 6 out of the 8 but which are which im currently doing them dwc in a dr90 tent with a 400w dimmerble lumatek everything going good nearly all have started showing flowers and are all looking very strong and good started from seed 3 weeks this saturday and will be changing the nutes tomorrow friday to bloom nutes currently using canadian express.

ok so everything was on hold for a few weeks because of a proposed change in my living environment... aka possible move. But after working things out and a little stoner magic, i made everything better and ok again. tonight i started germination on a few seeds. im using the paper towel method in-between 2 plates and on-top of my cable box. i have 12 seeds starting as follows
5 Vertigo (auto)
2 Pandora (auto)
2 Diesel Ryder (auto)
1 Fast Line Nevilles Haze
2 Red Cherry Berry

Because all the seeds are female and hopefully stable, i plan on growing the autos for a fast harvest. (all should be done before 9 weeks, some 7)
I hope to turn the Nevilles and one of the RCB into mothers, and flower out the other one which should take considerably longer than the autos.

when the beans pop i have ready jiffy peat pellets ready to take them under 6 cfls (3 30ish" watt reds and 3 42watt blues)

after im assuming a week and a half to 2 weeks i will transplant the jiffys into 2 gallon containers for the autos and 5 gallon pots for the others.
i will have these under a 400 watt MH for 1.5 weeks at which time ill swap the bulb to a HPS

OK approx. 30 hrs after start of germination, all but 4 are done and planted in the jiffy pellets. i measured the pH and its 6.6 so i think im ok there. got the dome on the pellets, an aquarium heating pad for under it all, and my cfls on full blast about 2 inches from everything. ill post pics as soon as i see some sprouts. I know nobody else is but im fuckin stoked this is all finally starting to happen. i feel as though i have thoroughly prepared myself for the task at hand. and if i need anything i always got RIU to fall back on. wish me luck everyone as i have begun the first steps down this road and im not looking back

SO DID I GET A GOOD DEAL OR WHAT???

I went to check on the seeds about 12 hours after planting, almost 48 hours after the beginning of germination, and i already have 7 sprouts out of the soil, 3 are almost out, and 2 havent changed

the 2 slow ones are the Paradise Seeds- Pandora (freebies from Attitude)


the left 2 are the pandora, and the 3 in a row next to it, i guess the pic doesnt show but the seedlings are coming up, i can see the shell pushing up

7 hrs after last post they've all sprouted, 100% success rate
keeping them under 4 23w 5500k cfl
and 2 23w 2500k cfl

on a 24/0 light schedule for now...
any advise on nutes out of what i have? can anything help me out right now?

I wouldent give the auto's anything but RO water until about week 3 when the begin to flower and hit them with some kind of bloom fertilizer you got a couple to choose from

so im in my living room smoking a blunt with a buddy and i hear a loud crash, my heart starts racing as i think its my new light hood w a pretty expensive bulb in it. turns out my cfl light get up fell onto my seedling tray. they all fell on the ground in their peat pods, but i have no idea whats what. after gathering everything up, 1 seedling is definately dead... 2 others are not so hott but the other 9 are looking like nothing happened. needless to say all my bulbs broke so i was forced to put the remaining seedlings under my 400w MH

thanks for stopping by.... im only about 5 days in and this is my first grow. ph is 6.5 and the only additive ive givin in 1/4 dose of hygrozyme.
