So let me get this right, I would place the perlite at the bottom of each 5 gallon pot all the way up to the drain holes at the bottom correct? I'm going pick up a bag of Miracle-Gro 8 Qt. Perlite*$3.97/EA-Each at home depot when I get off of work and I will do the final transplant. I moved the plant with the heat curl away from the light and it is still looking the same as of right now, the leaf with the curl seems to be a little hard and is turning kinda black. I'm not sure if the little buddy will make it but i'll keep watering and hope for the best. I also got my free skunk seeds from Attitude yesterday so if it doesn't make it I will replace it's spot with probably a kushberry x skunk seed.

I honestly do not think that the lights are putting out that kinda heat on the leafs surface, the light bulb doesn't really get hot at all. I can touch it & won't burn myself, I have reason to believe that the plant was overwatered. I did a little bit of research on rollitup & found this: https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=86
How much water do you guys use in a 16oz plastic cup, I have been putting about 100ml of filtered water every 2 days. Should I start watering them every 3 days & how much water should I be using?

just water when the container feels light, and water till you get some seepage from the4 bottom drain holes, 100ml every 2 days is probly too much, by keeping the soil too moist you are stunting the plants root system, have to let the soil dry out a bit to make the roots stretch for water, you will end up with a much faster growing, healthier plant. and yeah just put about an inch of perlite down on the bottom and mix a little more in the soil, that should help you keep the moisture level right in those big pots.

Hey Foam, thanks for visiting my threads. I thought I would stop in and check it out..Lookin good my friend!

Once they are about 4” I would keep a fan on them at all times, but not too much as you can wind burn, just enough to wiggle the plants a little. This will thicken the stems. Direct air up toward the light to dissipate heat but sounds like your bulb is not hot. Drill plenty of drain holes in the cup in the bottom and sides around the bottom for drainage. I just water till it runs out the bottom and stop. After you water get a feel for the weight. Then when it gets real light you know they can use a little water. As they grow some will use more water than others. I try to just keep mine moist. Watch the Miracle Grow perlite I think it has nutes in it. That what I read. That Light Warrior is mainly for seed germination. It looks good from what I read on the bag, its very light, stimulates root growth so I am going to mix ¼ of it in with OF to see. These weeds are tuff. I once used the same pellets, cut the screen off, washed the dirt off the roots with a water hose, stuck them in my waterfarm and after two days they TOOK OFF! I had one stretch 6” fell over and grew into an S shape. Ended up being the best plant. You will do fine. Just don’t over feed or water, good air flow and light then watchem grow…

I had switched to rockwool cubes. Seemed like it was hard for the little roots to come out. Now I am trying a 9oz cup with ¼ OF in the bottom and topped off with LW. LW will germ and stimulate root growth then as they grow down the hit the OF. I just hope the OF is not too hot for the lil girls. We shall see!

I will trade you some blueberry for some bubbleicious! Scribed+++

Thanks for checking out my first grow homie. I've heard good things about the nirvana white widow, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I got the bubblelicious because my girlfriend never smoked bubble gum before so I thought it would make a good selection for my first grow. I have smoked bubble gum before, not sure what seedbank but it was the bomb, sweet in every sense. As for the free seeds, I did not get any but I got a free wallet. If you want free seeds I would recommend checking out attitudes seedbank. They were dropped into my mailbox in a unbelievable 8 days after purchase, I live in the U.S.

I give you props SL2 for visiting my very first grow journal, I will be keeping an eye on your kushberry SL2 & I may consider planting one if my ww dies. I'm using a fan in the room for the minute until I get my tent completely hooked up. I took your idea up on drilling holes into the plastic cup, just yesterday I started to notice that mainly my white widow plants bottom round leafs are turning yellow. I was worried a few days about that the cups were not setup properly for drainage. I've been trying to figure out what is causing this and from what I've read it can be a number of things, my issues that may have caused this to happen would be transplanting into ocean forest (hot soil) first, improper drainage, or overwatering. I'm not exactly sure what caused this but I hope to fix the problem soon, is it normal for the bottom leafs to turn yellow and start falling off? I have not went and pick up the perlite or transplant into 5gal pots just yet, thanks for the heads up on the perlite having nutes in them. When I do transplant into bigger pots I plan to do a 60% Ocean Forest & 40% Light Warrior mix, I will be using the light warrior more on top the pots around the roots. As for trading bubblelicious for blueberry, I would honestly love to take you up on the offer. After my harvest I'll pick a couple bubblelicious seeds off one of my fem plants & mail them to you if you do the same, private message me if you are really interested. This would be of course about 2 months so we could do the trade in mid Febuary or so.

it is completly normal for the coyltldons, i think thats how its spelled, the seed leaves anyway, to go yellow and fall off after a bit, they are just food storage organs for the seedling, once the nutrients are used up the go yellow and shivel up, every thing is looking great man, keep up the good work.

I posted a thread late last night in the plant problems forum because my bottom leaves on my white widow started to turn yellow, here is the link: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/286802-17-day-old-plants-need.html

Anyway after a few suggestions I decided to transplant them into bigger 5 gallon pots, when plastic cups were cut open I seen roots on the outside of the dirt. I also placed them into my GrowLab that isn't exactly vented just yet because of the size of the pots, my CFL lights won't be able to light up 6 5 gallon pots.

A guy on my plant problem thread showed me these really neat frog meters, I just picked up a 5 pack of them for 27$ with shipping off of eBay. Check them out, they croak when plants need water!

LOL! Sorry about that guys, this grow is in fact still alive and kicking. I had a problem with venting my 600w HPS out of my window, I had to build a something for it to allow the heat to blow outside & keep the water, bugs, and heat out. This took me way longer then it should have, in fact these babies veg'd for over 4 months. They were finally put into flowering roughly about a month & a half ago, I actually flushed them just last night being they are 2 weeks away from harvest. I guess it was my fault for being such a pothead about this thread, I did take a bunch of pictures that I will show everyone on this post. They are honestly about a half year old at the moment, I know its retarded that I let it go that long but this was my first actual grow ever. I had 3 regular Nirvana WW's & 3 regular Nirvana BG's planted to start this grow off, to my surprise all of the bubblicious were females, I only had 1 WW female. The other 2 WW males showed sex before I even put them into flowering, I killed them as soon as I noticed the sacks. They honestly aren't as tall as I expected them too be but I veg'd them 4 months with nothing but 3 68w 2700k CFL's, my next grow in my tent I will be using a 400w MH for my veg. Once again, sorry for being so sloppy with this grow journal. I have tons of pictures, I didn't record the dates so I have no idea, ENJOY! I'll post more pictures later, I used a better camera.

Here is a few pictures of my window vent box that took almost a month & a half to build, was a pain in the ass. I had to take it apart like 5 times because it wasn't fitting the way I wanted it too in the window.

Here are more recent pictures of them with bud on them, these were taking probably about 2 weeks ago I think. They have gotten a little bigger since these pictures, as soon as the lights come on I'll take some more pictures with the digital camera.

I took these pictures on day 27 of my 1st autoflower grow so these pictures are about a month & a half into flowering.

Nice, I look forward to seeing what they look like when they are finished.
I'll post some recent pictures up tonite, my last watering before flush I may have over did it with the nutes. The fan leafs are burned at the top, I have flushed since them but leafs are still turning yellow. Only 9 more days till chop, my WW may be a little behind so I may left her sit with my autos in the tent.

This will be a small update, we are coming to the end of the grow. My white widow will be sitting in the tent a bit longer, crystals aren't exactly milky nor or they amber. As for my 3 bubble gums, I just took them out of my tent. They were taken out 5 minutes after my HPS light came on, I plan to start trimming one of them and hang it up to dry. They other two will sit in one of my bath tubs in the dark with vent running. I'll upload pictures in a little bit for real this time, lots been going on lately, anyway check back later! P'z..
