150watt HPS & CFL Low Ryder 2 seed run.

Seeing how expensive LR2 seeds are I'm going to do a seed run with my last 4 LR2 seeds from another seed run last year.

I built a Mother/Cloning box a few months ago. The box is 2x2x3 plywood box with a cheap ($13) 50 cfm bathroom exhaust fan and a passive intake.

I have a few small mother plants that will live with the LR2's. The males will be taken outside and the female plants will be brought to it. I have a current 1000watt grow that's finishing up now in the same garage so I don't want to risk polination.

This grow is mostly about seeds not bud, although I'll smoke the bud for sure....
I'm open to all questions, comments, advice, etc..
Ok so on to the details..

Grow Box - 2x2x3
Lighting - 150watt hps, 4 26watt cfls daylight
Medium - Fox Farm Ocean Forest & Promix in 1 gallon grow bags
Nutes - Fox Farm Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom

Seeds planted directly in soil in 4" square pots on Sept 10th and all popped by Sept 13th.

ok you have my attention now so keep it coming very interested in the outcome expecially the heat control you are running about the same amount of light that i am and im having heat issues at times althouh where im at our temps reach 108f right now outside with my air on inside the grow space (closet) 2x3x6 it gets up to 90f unless i leave the door open about a foot and a half.. so ill be hoping for your success to lead the way..peace pot prosperity

These pics are from Sept 23rd. The larger plant is only a day or so ahead of the rest. It showed male yesterday and has been put outside. I don't want it polinating my larger grow. I'll take the females outside and polinate them several times over the next few weeks after they show female( hopefully there is at least one )

All the plants are now as big as the largest one here and have been transplanted into 1 gallon grow bags. I'll start feeding them a low dose, probably a half dose to start, of Tiger Bloom in about a week or two.

I'll update with new pics tomorrow..

I got the ballast out of the box and that helped with the heat. The box stays about 2 degrees above the ambient temp. The intake is just a passive intake.

Here's the male at day 16. It's been the largest plant since they germinated. This is the one time that I hoped for a male. This male showed early and has explosive growth so it will be a good candidate for breeding.

The other 3 have not shown yet (it's day 19 today) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are all fems. I just need one though

4 seeds - 4 Males.... So that put an end to my lowrider growing...lol I won't buy anymore auto flower seeds because I use clones from bonsi mothers. I have 10 really nice strains going right now under a 1000 watt....
