1000 watt HPS bagseed closet grow!!!!!

There's no way ull be able to run 1000w with no hood without having temps in the 90s unless u wanna ruun ac all the time.

I would recommend you go with 2 400w set ups like said above. Better coverage and less heat. I would recommend running ceramic metal halide bulbs. U can use them for both veg n flower and u can use them in open hood because they burn much cooler. Ii had a reg 400w mh in my 4x2x8 and temps gott upto 85, once I put in the ceramic metal halide the temps haven't gone over 78 since and the bulbs 9 inches from canopy in an open hood. Only a 170cfm exhaust fan and that's it.

I have a 10x11.5' room for them... had them in my setup for only 1 day n noticed the most growth thus far...pics any sec now.

When I have all 10 girls in I'm going to deff add like 2 oscillating fans and an air purifier

Sweet man. U can run 2 1ks with that much room. Im sure the ceiling fan will provide sufficient circulation but extra fans wont hurt. Is that the 1k in the pic?

Did u get the exhaust fans set up for the room /light?

Yes, it's an Ultra SUN bulb in an air cooled hood not really cooled by air yet...

I can't put holes in the current ceiling, so I gotta wait till I can do that to invest in the exhaust fan.

My plants are all at diff stages because I planted them on different days... The ceramic one is the oldest around DAY 10 veg, but here they are!

from my experiences, that much stretch is not always a good thing; it could and usually has, for me at least, resulted in excessive bend.

I'm thinking about purchasing Klashnikova (Ak-47 x White Widow) from Attitude Seedbanks. Does anyone have experience with that strain? If so, how was the grow and how was the smoke?

I mean your wasting some cash man, go get a 32 watt t5 bulb, or hell even a little 13w cfl is enough. I couldn't imagine running my 1k for 18/6 or even 24/0.

Also, you CAN veg with red spectrum, but if you read, something in blue spectrum (6200-6500k) is best for veg.

stop wasting money and useless amounts of electricity and go buy yourself a small light for veg.

Haha it's alright bro i prolly didn't mention it before but i dont want tall plants but i do like topping plants i might be so inclined to top 1 or 2 of my girls while my first go at 12/12 from seed

My 1000 watt HPS is about 2ft. away from plant tops is that too close or good??
