Cannacopia Roadkill Skunk (RKS x Deep Chunk) Report

Strain: Cannacopia's BC Roadkill Skunk
Growth: Started 4 beans in aerocloner, found 2 females - both phenos are quite consistent. Highly vigorous growth in both veg and flower, quick cloner, and handles environmental issues like a champ. (1K HPS) Can be cut @ 7 weeks but will continue swelling through week 9
Nutes: Cutting Edge Solutions
Yield: Range from 60-80 g per plant
Bag Appeal: 9, 10 if you love color! Lime green with purple highlights and frosty!
Smell: Dead skunk, after a proper cure, opening a container with even the smallest bud will over power the immediate vicinity with this foul yet dank smell
Taste: meaty and hashy, very expansive once it hits your lungs, be prepared!
The High: On first exhale your brain lets you know you are in for one hell of a buzz - heavy like a brick the smoke hits hard, even for more tolerant smokers. Effective medicine for sleep and anxiety.
Comments: Overall this plant is just amazing; easy to grow, high yielder, and exceptional harvest.

HempDepot.ca $35 for a 10 pack. They have a number of Deep Chunk crosses, thus far I have found the RKS to be outstanding.

Your stuff looks nice. Im growing some of their Chunky Cinderella at the moment. Ive wanted to try out their RKS for awhile, but opted on this one as smell issues were a concern, but I think Ill grab a pack of the RKS on my next purchase anyways. Check out my signature to follow along if you like.

No plant pics ATM, should have some new ones soon though. I've had RKS plants yield anywhere from 1 to 3 ounces, depending on size and style (Aero vs. passive hydro), in all cases, yield has always been very satisfactory.

As it was in a room with many others, it's hard to say for sure, but I would not believe it would require "extra" odor protection. The Durban is by far more potent scent than the RKS.

Gringo:

Do you know anything about the cannacopia strain Magnum. I've heard great things about that strain but can't find them at hempdepot. Road kill looks awesome also. I need a really good yileder. How long to finish in flower?

Mountaingirl2: I have not heard anything about that particular strain, but thus far Cannacopia genes have proved more than exceptional. RKS is a big yielder and can be pulled at 7 weeks, but is best left 8 weeks in - my phenos anyways. Good luck!

Thanks Gringo- I'm in on the cannacopia strains. I've done a lot of reading and they seem to have a great reputation. Some of the strains I'm interested in aren't listed on the hempdepot sight like magnum and pommelo but the roadkill and chocolate sound like they might work for my set-up.

I just got a response from Hempdepot about the roadkill and chocoate and they said that both strains take forever to get to a good size in veg because of the deep chunk. Was that your experience?. How long did you veg and how big were they when you put them in flower? sorry for so many questions but appreciate the info a lot. Just wasted 4 months with a strain that isn't going to work for me.

Both the RKS and the G'Mule seem to veg at an average rate, once the RKS is flipped it will grow 2-3 times in size. I never flip the RKS at more than 10-12" or it'll just become a tree.

Thanks Gringo- Hempdepot tried to discourage me from those seeds but I've read some other reviews and they are all stellar. I'm going to order some seeds this week. In fact I think I'm going to try the chocolate as well since that is supposed to be a great yield. Don't kinow how that would be commercially but I'm trying tht RKS first an see how that goes. I'll let you guys know and take some pics.

Good luck, I personally know of one commercial grower that always dedicates a percentage of his crop to RKS as not only is it a massive yielder, it almost always turns colors, including a nice, deep purple, and the stone is excellent as well.
