Sometimes parts of the plant mature faster than others so you can harvest separate parts at different times. The plant just sounds like it was ready for harvest.

YES!! If anyone is still watching this forum I think I found the problem and it WAS the pot. I am currently growing in an airpot and I didn't realize it but a lot of the roots were growing out of the holes in the bottom of the pot. I had the pot on a plastic bag to catch any water that leaked...

to answer your question brick top I usually will water with plain phed water and then test the first few drops of runoff. I use reverse osmosis water with the ph adjusted to 6.5. The claw seems to have improved on some leaves but grown worse on others but the buds are still swelling like crazy...
