The claw!!!

YES!! If anyone is still watching this forum I think I found the problem and it WAS the pot. I am currently growing in an airpot and I didn't realize it but a lot of the roots were growing out of the holes in the bottom of the pot. I had the pot on a plastic bag to catch any water that leaked out and the roots were actually growing into the plastic searching for water and nutes to no avail. Therefore the roots could not supply adequate water/nutrients to the plant thus resulting in the downward curling "claw"-like leaves. To fix the problem I put the pot in a large bowl where the roots can hang freely and filled the very bottom of the bowl with a little water mixed with some nutrients so when the roots come into contact with it they will be able to feed the plant, sort of like hydroponics. Hopefully this will fix my problem and I will know for sure by tomorrow. Let me know if you guys have any other ideas as to how I can solve the problem and I will keep you posted. You should certainly "upsize" your pot. Glad you may have figured it out! I just recently had a run in with "the claw" due to overwatering! But my ladies have recuperated and are almost ready for cloning. I got great help here from peeps to diagnose my problem!

Flush that baby! Lower your nitrogen!

Try as I might, the claw remains...although it has improved somewhat. The big fan leaves are still healthy except two blades at the top are beginning to claw. I have tried everything at this point and am about ready to give up and just let nature take its course. The buds continue to swell daily so at least part of the plant is healthy. I'm beginning to think it is just genetics causing this or maybe since I am approaching the 4th week of flower the plant is using all of its energy to fuel the buds and the leaves are suffering because of it..idk. Hopefully, I will end up with some good smoke and the problem is not too serious. As of now the buds look good and the leaves are beginning to frost so that is a good sign. I really appreciate all the help you guys gave me and if you have any more ideas please let me know. I guess now all I kind do is take it one day at a time..peace and love
