Thats the thing about t5s though you dont need the whole spectrum of light you just need 2 red and blue. HPS and MH!! I grow with both and personally the t5s do the job but....... The HPS and MH show way more results then a T5. When you grow with T5 you dont get all the lumen it says you do...

In the condition i use im my room if i veg. for 8 weeks i would have plants bigger then me! Last batch i grew i had 2 plants about 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide and i only veg. for about 3 to 4. some plants depending on the strain 2-3

white is the best for any kind of plants. if mylar kinks or gets creased it can burn you plants from making a light reflection on one part of the plant. I recommend White or Getting Bubble foil from home depot because that cant crease easily.

Cooling CFLs wow u dont even need to do that. and if you really want to hydrofarm sells an air cooled CFL hood.
