Angryblackman's Ugly Outdoor Grow 2011

Hey all!

I just thought that I'd follow my fellow NorCal brothers and start my thread for this season. I have named this the ugly outdoor grow because I did very little to get the area ready aesthetically for you all to see. I promise to clean it up back there as the thread goes on. :)

The holes that I dug are about 24" deep 18-24" wide (I was high while digging LOL ) Filled them with supersoil mixed with some bat guano and a shot of Fish emulsion. I didn't let it cook long enough so I did get a little burning but they are fine. A few of the other holes got Fox Farms that I found on sale. :D

What do I have going down this year? Well I have had some plants outside since about late Feb and will be pulling a double harvest.

4 bagseed
1 Green Crack

I should be able to harvest these sometime in June. :D

The rest are clones that I have taken or purchased from the local dispensary. I will try and get links to strain info the best that I can.

1 Purple Dragon (http://www.kindreviews.com/07/purple-dragon-grasshopper-wellness/)
1 Purple Trash (http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Purple_Trash/Clone_Only_Strains/)
2 Mango (http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Mango/Homegrown_Fantaseeds/)
2 Redwood Kush (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNXSFl4pnoQ)
1 Pineapple Thai (http://budgenius.com/Pineapple-Thai-Altitude-Organic-BG0010001E382.html)
4 Green Crack (http://www.fhwcc.org/green-crack-strain-review-and-smoke-report/)

These have all been out since the middle of March. I know that it was early but I wanted to get a jump on this season. I also know that I have a good chance of them flowering early as well but if they do I will just pluck the tops and keep them going. :)

All of this will be grown only using Fish Emulsion for Veg and Tiger Bloom and molasses for flower. I am hoping that I can pull it off. :)

Thanks for stopping in and I promise to start with pics this afternoon. :)

Sounds pretty cool.

You've got some nice strains there...really interested to see your Green Crack and Pineapple Thai.

I've heard some great things about the Green Crack, and Pineapple Thai sounds pretty sick too.

Good luck and have some fun with your grow(s)!

Thanks man. I have been working on this Green Crack since Jan 1. It had a very hard life in the beginning with my CFL grow and a transplant error on my part but I have nursed her back to health. :D

I'm here for the ugly ride!
Thank you Homer! :D

WTF, you couldn't wait 2 hours for me to wake up so I could first you hard! Damn bro, I see how it is...haha...Man, it's awesome to have the homies starting up their outdoor threads! I can't wait till we all have big plants in the ground, the smell of dank wafting through the backyard as we step out into the jungle to admire our girls...like a vision of paradise. I still wish I had some Redwood Kush for the season, but I decided that the only clones I'm going to grow are the clones I took myself from a plant I grew from seed. I'm sorta scared of systemic plant diseases (PM an shit), but hopefully Behemoth (the momma I have flowering in my DWC) turns out to be some fire weed, cause I have a BUNCH of clones chillin in the veg tent, and if their mom turns out awesome they'll be chillin, ready to go outside anytime(probably the end of may/early june). But nice strain selection, isn't digging holes and moving dirt fun? Haha, keep up the good work, brother!

Flowers are looking good so far. I am thinking that they will be chopped in June and the 4 that are separate will definitely get chopped. :)

I have some spray that contains Spinosad, it's good for catapillars...Probably should spray down the area, but I don't wanna spray down my plants yet, and I'm afraid if I spray around my plants, the bugs will turn to my plants as a food source. I'll wait for now. Nice pics, I mean, it's all good, who cares what they look like now anyway, it's the end of the season that matters! Haha, naw, it's a beautiful thing, ABM!!
