What size pots are needed to harvest decent bud?

Ok i had a few clones in a paper cup, it become a problem cuz if i watEr once a day and the next day it look dry and plants look shriveled and thirsty so i decided to have them in 1 gallon pots. Would that be enough to have OG kush plants in thier from start to finish? And wat hieght should i flower?
 
id go with 1 gal or bigger depends on how long your going to veg-how big you want them if you plan on growing them taller than 1 ft before you switch to flower i would use a 5 gal
 
...one gallon per foot of height, for soil. The smaller the pot the more often you'll have to water. I find 2/3 gallon pots work great for flowering in, with a 3 week veg. from rooted clone.
 
It depends how long u want to veg. them 4. Cas say u veg. em 4 anywhere past like 4 or 5 weeks then i would recomend u use at least a container that can hold 3 or more gallons of grow medium. Now if ur just veg. em 4 any less then 4 or 5 weeks then maybe u could get away with it but it would effect the plant ... probible ina bad way cas da roots need alot of space to grow and expand.
 
Don't know about that. But my friend grows with iguana rocks in hydro with 16oz cups and it works great for him.
 
what about hydro?
using hydroton rocks? does it rele matter?
ive seen pple grow from start to finish in cubes with roots sitting in the tray.
