Hey I talked to my buddy and he said he tried to call you a number of times last week and got no answer. He also said that, he's probably not interested in shipping anything. Its easy enough for him to just sell it here right now and its not worth the hastle considering how easy it is to get rid...
That's a really interesting experiement. I hope you continue to research this and give us feedback. I'm very interested in your findings especially if you do it on a larger scale again.
Sorry that was 1 tsp Epson Salt. And yes for soilless mediums, your PH should be the same as if growing in Hydro. Could explain the nutrient lock-out from having your PH too high.
Check your PH. When using promix, your ph should be around 5.8 when watering for best results. Promix is a soilless medium so should be ph'ed like hydro. The plants did look like mag deficiency to me and 1tsp per gallon of PH'ed water (correctly ph'ed) and I'm sure your plants will be a lot...
Yeah, I'll agree with Dota. Get them under light. I have mine under Daylight T8's but light is the most important thing here for you. I like to mist the clones the first week under the dome and keep them on a heat pad. As for only opening the dome once a day, that depends on a few things but if...
While flushing a great cure for over-fertilizing, I highly doubt that is your problem. My guess would be potassium deficiency. Give them a good feeding of some basic all purpose plant food like a 20-20-20 mix.
Its magnesium deficiency. Starts on the older fan leaves and moves up the plant. The fan leaves canoe shape and the veins stay dark green while the leaves develop necrosis between the veins. (Which are the brown spots you see?) Give it 1 tsp Epson salt per gallon for the next two watering. The...
I've never heard of it but if is a mold, get some fugicide at any plant store. Spray them when the lights are going off or early when the lights are just starting to come on.
Well the soil doesn't sound too bad really as it sounds to be fairly airy which is good for the plant. You don't want a soil that compacts too much or holds too much water/fertilizer either. If your not sure of your soil though, it might be best to get new soil as it is fairly cheap for a real...
My guess without a picture is that if they are growing good with the humidity dome over them and when you take it off, they aren't. Then they haven't developed enough roots yet to be able to absorb the water/nutrients to be left out in the open yet. Put the dome back over them for a week or two...
It is for some people and if a company advertises it as a feature and its a lie, then they are ripping you off. Its that simple.
http://www.lumatek.ca/
They do advertise it being completely silent;
"The Lumatek ballast is completely silent (no buzzing) and produces less heat than a standard...
