it's best to go to home depot get the clamp light and a spliter so you can put two bulbs in 1 clamp light and I did like 3 of those clap lights or more ( The more light the better and you don't have to worry about heat). Also you can move them around the plants as they grow. 23 watts are for flower and 27 watt 5700k or higher daylight bulbs are for Veg. I had (4) 27's and (2) 42's and I think I added (2) more 27's. at least one light clamped per plant on the pot and then I threw the rest over the top. An OG told me I'm cheating myself by not curing because it would be more potent, but I figure I will get around to it..lol. Perlite is the stuff that looks like styrofoam chips...it's mixed equally in the soil Miracle Grow has some so does Fox Farms, I also add some Bat Guano for extra nitrogen and microbes that are added. Your better off going CFL's instead of Floodlights. They are way too hot and that is why you have to put it so far away and your plants are stretching. I have CFL's and they are about a inch or 2 away from my plants...you can check them out in my grow album. you may end up needing to support for you babies as they get bigger so they won't fall over. Dude you think you smell something now wait until you get to flower and start rubbing those buds..lmao. I could'nt believe I actually grew them!!! first two plants did'nt make it to cure...lol.

I like your set up... I had the foil set up for my first grow and still use it in my early veg chamber, I have that panda plastic black on one side white on the other, in my area now. I noticed you don't have nearly enough perlite in your soil and water maybe sitting in your soil, that may explain the droopy leaves (basically your overwatering your plants because your not getting enough drainage when you water) space out your waterings as far as possible once a week at the least. when you transfer make sure you put some perlite in the new mix. I definately think this will help but I'm no weed yoda..lol. more like a jedi in training..lol.

Definately a friend of the indica..lol. but Sativa is my buddy too. Sounds like it will be tight whatever you grow if you veg too long. you want to do a quick veg and right into flower and topping will also help keep the height uncontrol. you may want to get Lowryder Easy Ryder AKA Lowryder #2 x AK47 or something that auto flowers and stays small and bushy or you can go 12/12 from start also. In your space ventilation and heat will be a issue because it's small, so keep a eye on that. Good Luck keep me posted.

hey whats up...U can do veg with at least 2 cfls but you will get a better turnout if you get a HPS/MH convertible light and use the metal haloid for veg. and use the hps for flower. If you got 4 plants you will need at least a 400watt light & balast. You can get one for around $130 - $170 I paid $130 but its not aircooled. You should really look into this because this will drastically increase your yield.

thats a nice light. that along with the other light(s) u said u had will be good throughout vegging for sure.. but.. once u get into flowering.. u might want 2 get 1 more bulb like that... but instead of gettin the "daylight" bulb for veg growth. ur gonna wanna get the "Soft White" light 2700KI bulb for flowering. its ok to run a mixed spectrum.. i do it all the time. soo u can still use the bulb ur buying now. along with the new 1 u buy and that should be enough to grow 2 small plants.. dont let them get over 1 ft during veg tho.. cuz once u start flowering.. the 1st 2 weeks they stretch.. ALOT!! and so if u flower at 1ft. they double and triple in size... sooo keep that in mind. it would be impossible to flower 2 5 ft moinsters with only tho lights. i always flower at 3-4 weeks of vegg. adn my plants finish at about 2 1/2 - 3 ft. and i get 2-3 1/2 ounces each plant. hope this helps

heyy watsup man. well 1st off u migt need a lil more light during veg if ur gonna veg 4 plants.. during veg i like to have at least 1 CFL per plant. but 2 is better. but u can get away with 1.. and for flowering.. u can use CFL's.. (you will want 2700K rating bulbs aka soft white) but again.. u will want at least 2 CFL's per plant for them to grow properly.. if u dont have enough money/room for 8 CFL's... i would try growing only 2 instead. =) hope that helps a lil. if u need any more help just ask
