The Adventures of Lank

spotted some fungus gnats in the room, probably because its been so wet out, i see clouds of them flying around outside.
so i put out some fly strips (like 6 of them), put a little peice of Mosquito Dunk (BTI) in each container, and dusted the whole room with Diatomaceous Earth. fuckers.
making sure all plants dry out completley to make sure the gnats dont bunk up in there.
i hate gnats. right up there with spider mites. GRRRRRRRR.
whatever, hopefully they fuck clean off :-P
any other tips for dealing with gnats?

these are some pictures that cheered me up, coupla sunflowers the wifey grew this last beautiful summer. damn i miss the sun.

Happy New Year WCC! cool cloning tutorial. That really explains it well. I attempted some clones with my girl in 5th week flower. They didn't look good. I tried to get them going for couple weeks and then I had to leave town , I didn't want to throw them out so I put them in the freezer! LOL! they are still in there. hahaha. do you think if i put them back under lights they might grow again?
YOur set up is coming along real nice, very professionally executed , like everything you do. How are the birdies? I bet they are really big by now.Takecare!

happy new year to you too! thanks for checking out my posts, i find cloning plants in flower to be really challenging too, only a few times has it worked for me.

hahaa, so funny story about the birds, not really "haha" funny, but whatever...
so, one day i left my house to go have a shower (i havent installed a hot water tank yet, partially due to laziness, partially due to cost) but i left my dog in the house, but on the way out i forgot to close the door to the work area, where the quail were.
being a guy i only shower for like 15 mins, so i figured all would be fine. when i got home i found my dog downstairs with a few dead quail lying about, needless to say he received thorough beating and then lived on a chain in the yard for a few days. bastard.

i mean, it was my own fault for leaving the door open, knowing he is a very active dog. just a few days ago him and a bear got into a fight, like biting at each other and shit until i got there to break it up, (hes a small dog, like knee high, and it was a young bear) but i stoned the bear when he ran up a tree until i was satisfied, then continued on my walk.

i am planning on incubating more quail eggs in the near future, as it is a better time now to hatch chicks anyways. i have a nice new hutch built in my yard with nothing living in it yet so that is pretty high on my list. i just gotta find the lady i got those quail eggs off in the first place, and buy a few dozen.

thanks for stopping by and chatting, i get kinda bored and lonley sometimes:lol:

have a good morning,
