Your fine. Your paranoia is making you think it's new noises.

If you were outdoor I would tell you just not to water when the helicopters are out, but if you're indoor, their's nothing to stress over.

One time (while tripping) I thought a bunch of airplanes were flying over our house, like WAYY more than usual. But as we spent more time outside while tripping, we noticed there was just a plane path above my house. Like, they come in that way to land or something. But I never noticed it until I was tripping.

choppers fly over my house every day, as do planes. I think my large vegetable garden throws them off. If I am watering a plant and hear a chopper I just walk to my tomatoes or something

Lol seedlings under 300 watts of LED? Yeah the dea is hot on your trail.... J/K. Before flourescents most livingrooms and kitchens used more than 300 watts of light. Even 1000 watt hps is very very unlikely to attract notice.

I had a 14000 watt house grow literally across the street from an international airport. Roof so wrm that when it snowed my roof was the only one with no snow on it. Police helis flying over nightly (bad neighborhood). It made me paranoid as fuck but no cops ever came knocking.

I was actually watching a marijuana documentary the other day where they got a search warrant for a heat signature given off by a 600w hps.

What network was the show on? Do you know the name of the program?

Obviously I didn't see the show but my guess would be that they were already on to the person who was growing and went out of their way to look for the heat signature to get the warrant.

I'd like to watch that show.

just found this from another post: Not my words but I've heard this before and I think it's true.

BTW, for U.S. people, the federales cannot use thermal imaging on you unless they already have a warrant for other reasons. The Supreme Court has already ruled that thermal imaging constitutes a search, and you can't search someone's home without a warrant. So they CAN thermally image you, but they need a reason to get a warrant first.

i would never say 'dont be worried about helis' , course you got to worry some, and be carefull. but highly unlikely for your to get busted.. i also get quite paranoid too especially when they is someone on the run and the heli is hovering near my house for ages haha

Id like to see that too since FLIR cannot be used in the US unless there is an existing warrant. Also the person must have vented very poorly. If you make sure and exhaust a 600 or even a 1000 into your home to mix with household air and keep the grow light away from the wall there is no way they could even see it.

I kind of live in an area that probably glows at night ;-). Yeah trust me i was nervous. Wanna know what happened though? My partner decided to trust his gf and "best" friend. Turns out they took pills together...got jacked for 50-60000 in dry herb and a room full of 66 females from seed from a breeding project that were y weeks in.

It was a UK documentary i watched on the youtube. I've skipped to the part and it looks like i was wrong. Obvious mistake, it's been a while. It was actually ambient heat that was detected by
their helicopter along with other intel but it turns out they were growing nothing and the dumbass cop was saying to need at least 600w for anything to be
able to grow.

But the point is they will keep an eye on you if the heat signature looks abnormal.

Here it is:

i read a news paper article(cant remember which one) about a guy in washington who got busted cos of a heat sig caused by him venting outside. his defence was that they couldnt use the flir video filmed by a police car driving thru his hood because of the 4th amendment rule(i think this is the right amendment). but the judge scrapped his defence on the grounds that he was venting outside (so his privacy in his own home did'nt count anymore) as it was leaving his home it was lawfully detected.so by doing this he waved his right to call in the 4th amendment. anyway OP its most likely your paranoia thats led to to notice the heli's now and not before. its better to be safe than sorry tho eh!
