Blackskull Pepperjack Haze 16 week DWC SCROG

Hello All,

So I finally got a chance to take some pictures of the plant, this time with the light off so you can see better...I had to tie down a few rogue branches that decided to stretch more than other, but I think is pretty much done stretching as she has only grown about an inch in the last 3 days. I raised the light some (you can see from the pictures that it was too close with the tops grown up to within about 5 inches). Hopefully all I have to do now is wait patiently for my nuggets...should be ready by early December, and hopefully smokeable by Christmas time:mrgreen:

Here are the pics....enjoy

I wasn't aware of it until now but I just checked it out...so I don't have any experience I can throw your way on that.

It sounds pretty kickass to me though. I was thinking about buying subculture from GH for my next go, but if the claim that it works better than any product on the market is true, then I will look into using it instead on my next go around.

:leaf:Hello All,

So the plant is about 4 weeks into flowering now and its really starting to get into the heart of the flowering cycle. Crystals everywhere, smell is phenomenal, and everything is going great. Had a bit of a heat issue as the cooltube was a little to close to the top for the last 5 days or so and it made some of the middle of the plant yellow up a bit. But I raised the light and it has started to green back up in the middle. Other than that I'm very pleased. This plant is just so big that I don't think the 8-9 week flowering period will hold for this plant. Last go around I cut her down at 8.5 weeks but it needed about another week. But with this beast I think its gonna take a bit longer to fill out all the budsites. I'm thinking 10-11 weeks of flower should do the trick. So the title of this thread should really be 18 week DWC scrog instead of 16 but whatever....

here are the pics...enjoy:bigjoint:

Hi Richard, your plant is really amazing. I cant believe you had to move her like that. fukin hell..what a situation that must have been.. I have nightmares about somethings like that. Congratualtions on a successful move. Your new set up looks stellar and you girl looks very very happy. You did an exellent job. The strain is quite intersting sounding. Pepper Jack is my favorite cheeze.I was wondering if can you tell me a llittle bit about the make up and history of this black skull pepper jack.. its a haze.. its a cheese too?
Good luck with your final weeks. I hope you dont mind if i stick around to the end now, a bit late but im glad i made it! i saw your entry in the cola contest and i was blown away... thanks for posting that there so i could find you.. take it easy..

Thanks for the praises Doctor, I really appreciate the kind words. Welcome aboard...it never hurts to have a doctor around...and yes, moving her was a fuckn nightmare. But worse than the move I think was having to rescrog and LST the plant once the move was finished....it took FOREVER. But I believe it was well worth it.

As to the genetics I really don't know much about it, and apparently not many people do. I've tried looking online for an answer to this and can't find shit. I believe the strain is relatively new and as far as I know there isn't much info on it. I got the seeds as freebies from dope-seeds.com when I ordered a bunch of autoflower seeds a while back. I believe they are still giving them away for the rest of 2011 on any orders over 100 pounds but they unfortunately no longer ship to the US. But they have an entire line of feminized seeds under the Blackskull name.

Here's what their website says....
Blackskull pepperjack haze feminised cannabis seeds

If you are looking for a high quality sativa without the super-long flowering time then look no further than blackskull pepperjack haze.

This strain has a flowering time of 8-9 weeks and offers an uplifting high which comes from its sativa dominant genetics.

The strain grows long slender buds and gives off a peppery aroma which really spices up the grow room

Genetics: sativa dominant hybrid
Flowering time: 8-9 weeks
Indoor yield: 60-90 grams per plant
Outdoor yield: Anything from 250-500 grams can easily be achieved
Smell: Pepper and spice and all things nice!

I was extremely happy with the results last go around, some of the best sativa nugget I've ever had...and I do love sativas. The flowering time is a bunch of bull though, I did harvest at 8.5 weeks last time but it wasn't ready. I'd say 10-11 is more realistic. If I had to guess at the genetics I would assume Jack Herer, Skunk #1 (cheese), and some sort of haze...but I really have no clue. Regardless the shit is real dank and the genetics seem pretty stable because this plant is identical in almost every characteristic to the plant I grew last time

Hey Richard, thanks for the information. It sounds like you really got a winner..maybe i will be lucky enough to grow this Blackskull pepper jack haze strain one day. I do like my sativas alot. I have some really high hitting high quality lemon sativas in my stash right now.. Super lemon Haze and Lemon Skunk.. I would recommend both as very potent sativas to grow. lovely lemony aroma and i can stay high for hours on end from both strains from just one vape balloon..(and i medicate often) have you ever tried them?
take it easy
