nice a hps will sure help in flowering do :)
Thanks for the tip, and trust me I know. The heat problems that would pose in this size of a grow space would out weight the benefits of the light for growing purposes. Thanks though

CARDBOARD BOX GROW!?!?!?!? Not knocking'. . . cuz you are obviously pulling results! I just scanned through all your pics… I'm sub'd so I can keep up and grow through the details. Looking killer bro. What kind of clone is that (sorry if you mentioned that in the thread…)

Oh, and BTW, I had a do a double take on your wedding ring…*for a second I thought we had the same one! hehe.
Hell yeah cardboardbox! It works man, all you need is 4 walls, doesn't matter what its made of. Its a Super Silver Haze clone. Lol yeah Its tungsten carbide, love it.

Grow looks real good. I want to see how that lady finish up.
Thanks dude! I can't wait ether!

Silver they have been under the 6500k's the whole time? flower and veg?
No they are under 2700K, I just change the light settings on my camera so the pictures don't look all yellow, you can see the buds much more clear like this.

Thanks for all of the comments guys, keep them coming. No real updates, but I did order some Golden barrel unsulphured black strap molasses! Should be here tomorrow. Here are a few new pictures from last night.

Looking good sir :) Always nice to see dank looking CFL buds
Thanks dude! Wish they were putting off a bit more of a smell though, at this point they still dont smell much at all. Is this normal? Input from anyone on this matter would be awesome, thanks.

Hey guys! Finally have an update to post. So my Molasses showed up today and it was feeding time so my girl got its first taste. Yesterday I added two 23w 2700k bulbs to give flowering a little boost, that takes my lumens to about 14000. Also I stopped using Floragrow in my feeding schedule, now its only Floramicro, Florabloom, and molasses. Now on to some pictures, enjoy!

So today I found out I have spider mites....@$*#@*% So I'm just going to nuke the fuckers with Hot Shot No-Pest strips . No-Pest strips, if you haven't herd of them, are time release vapor pet control strips. I'm planning on placing it about 8-12" above my intake fan for 24-48hrs. Hopefully I can get rid of them in only 24hrs, but we'll see.

Link to some info, post #9, it'll take you right there.

Bravo for deciding to kill the mites, rather than "control" them.
You may need to rethink your time though.
I'm not 100% sure but I don't think No pest kills the eggs, i've been told to keep the no pest strip out for up to two weeks to kill
the ones that hatch after the initial infestation.
Overkill rather than underkill I guess you could say.
To be safe, I kept mine hanging for close to a month with no ill effects to me, my animals, or the plants. (None that I know of anyway)
And of course, not a mite in site since day two of hanging the no pest strip. Unless you count dead melted blobs as mites.

Haha, right on dude, that's exactly the reply I was looking for. I'm so glad to hear that there are no ill effects! Also thanks for the advise, I'll make sure to keep it up long enough to kill the spider mites that still need to hatch.

So I've decided to use lady bugs first to see if I can't control them until flowering is over. I feel it is too far into flowering to use the strips. I just had my first child less than a month ago and I would rather not use something toxic with him being so young. Hopefully the lady bugs do the trick, wish me luck.

Totally understandable.
Hell, I waited almost a year and fought them with sprays, and I was only worried about two cats.
Actually for the longest time I thought whenever someone mentioned a no pest strip, they
were talking about the fly paper type stuff so I never gave it a second thought for a long time.
Good luck

You could also look into "SaferBrand" EndALL. I used that today in addition to hanging up 2 HotShot No Pest Strip… want to make doubly sure no bugs be living on my girls!

Thanks Declectic, I read up on it and it seems like a nice solution. If these lady bugs don't work out that might be my next step.

So I picked up the lady bugs and added about 100 of the 200 I bought. I've read some good reviews on them, I just hope that its not too far infested. I've only found three small webs on the lower branches, but from what I hear these fuckers multiply fast. I think if I can't see any results in 4-5 days then I'll add the rest of the lady bugs.

Lady bugs and mite damage.

More mite damage.

For sure man! And it's pretty cheap too, it's only $10 or 11 bucks

Good luck with the lady bugs, I wanted to try those as well but I felt bad for them…*i.e. if there wasn't any food and them just dying off :( I just felt bad iono why  I can't wait to see how they turn out for you though! :)

Hello, so this is my first grow. I've been researching all different types of growing from outdoor soil to indoor aeroponics and hydroponics. So when I got a fee clone as a 1st time customer gift at my local wellness center, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grow. She will be 2 weeks old tomorrow but is growing fast! This grow is on the cheaper side but I feel I've done a quality job so far. Tell me what you guys think, criticism is welcome. Enjoy the pics.

Lights I'm using, 4 45w 6500k's. Running 24hrs on.

It's home running one light. I was waiting for the splitter/adapter to get here.

Lights w/ adapter.

New light setup in.

yo silver where did you get the orange trouble light cord?
the ones I can find have 75watt limit and just stopped working! -__-

So I've added all of the lady bugs (their everywhere!) if this doesn't work I'm not sure what my next step will be. I may try 1:1 mixture of 100% IPA and water (Since IPA evaporates) or some liquid ladybug (ironic lol). The mites have slowed down I think but I'm not 100% sure. I haven't found any new webs and their are no mites on the buds that I can see. How can I tell if the plant is too far gone to keep growing? I want to be able to know if its heading in that direction so I can try to take some more drastic measures. Any help would be great, thanks everyone.
