To be very honest with you, I happen to like Obama better than ANY of the current candidates running. But I still don't like him. Far as I'm concerned, 09 in going to be a lose/lose situation no matter which one of these idiots get in there.
Hey, COD4, is being reasonable. Whadda ya know...Yeah, your probably right. We're fucked with any of the possible candidates. I'm just supporting Obama on the lesser of two evils premise.

Look change takes time. Obama promises change. Lets give him a chance. The country wasn't ready for Ron Paul. The MSM wouldn't help him and the establishment was downright scared of him, Maybe if Obama listens to the people like he promises, we'll get some change. You must be aware that the PTB (powers that be) are going to fight him tooth and nail and any changes will be hard won. I only hope they don't assassinate him.

I think Obamas wife is a disgusting socialist. And as we all know, the women usually end up running shit. I don't trust her at all....more than Hillary...but that's not saying much. I wish I had a link to the speech she gave...it made me sick to my fucking stomach.

I don't support the "lesser of two evils" argument. That was the argument for Bush and look what it got us. That's a BS argument.

Maybe but if McCain's elected we'll be at war for the next 100 years and the USA will become the NAU.

And even back then I didn't think Bush was the lesser of two evils.

in socialism government is the corporation. it is also a monopoly corporation with no one else to turn to. enjoy that ideological paradox.

Socialism fails every time it's tried. America is the strongest nation the world has ever seen, not because of socialism but because of capitalism.

What is your definition of strength? Military I assume. I tend to think that things like average life span, education, general health, and overall happiness of the people make for a strong country. America is nowhere near the top in many of these aspects.

I guess that is opposed to the corporations running the government as we have now where the rich get richer and the poor get fucked.

we have always agreed that the current federo-capitolism system is ruining this nation... wish we could clean it out and go back to plain capitalism! i just prefer not to have ANY sort of monopoly unless it is created by the people on a voluntary basis. a legislatively crafted monopoly is too prone to the same corruption we see now.

probably an anarchocapitalist.

Nice. I like that name. Because, I don't trust the government. I don't think there should even be one. At least, not a Federal one. I like capitalism. But, I don't trust big corporations, which spring under capitalism. It's confusing. But no form of government works perfectly in theory. I think we should give anarchocapitalism a try, though:blsmoke::mrgreen:.
