anyone have any suggestions as to what city in north or south florida would be the best to move to? Ive been trying to move to florida for about a year now, tough on a small budget. Looking for cheap and privet! anybody?
Well depending on where your at now i may deter from coming to Florida. the unemployment rate is 33% and climbing. the cost of living is increasing rapidly. Itd funny cause im trying to get out of here. Got trapped 3 years ago lol. But as for cheap and private you cant beat the panhandle. Definitely cheap and lots of wilderness.

you should do what im trying to do. Look at the states with the least punishment for growing and check for places to live there. Friend of mine grew in Wisconsin for 30 years. Indoor veg outdoor flowering every year. Came out great. Tons of places far up north in Wisconsin to grow. Lots of wilderness if you can stand the cold winters.

Missouri is the cheapest by far. Check out Joplin and surrounding areas. Nice dirt cheap private areas. Get a decent 3 bedroom house for about 300-400 month in southern parts of missouri.Kansas is almost as cheap but you pay higher taxes.

Photo0010.jpgWell I got the good stuff now. Canna cocoa medium and fertz, 250 watt MH light with good ventilation now i need to know if i should try early sexing or wait cause i have the 8 plants in 40oz styro cups. Ill be able to set up 4 pots with the medium. I was thinking while still in the cups to try to determine sex and go back to veg but they need transplanting soon. plus they are still recovering from what ever damage i did to them.

Hmmm 8 plants unknown sex, 4 pots, what to do? Any suggestions?

@dudemango Most of south east florida is more urban so itd be tuff to grow outdoors. I was just suggesting Delray because its a chill town with a great beach atmosphere and downtown where alot of people smoke but very few grow so it would be easy to sell ur stuff locally if u were looking to do that.

if u were looking for a good place to grow in delray then id suggest either one of the gated townhouse/apartment complexes in the east beach area, near the interstate is a pretty shitty area though. Or once u go a little west of interstate theres a lot of nice gated communities with affordable duplexes town homes and stand alone homes where u wouldnt have to worry about being robbed that much.
If ur looking for a more secluded area then i suggest out west near ochechobe west of royal palm beach. We barley ever get freezing temperatures down here though so ud be abler to grow outdoors year round.

Overall though south east florida is the most expensive area in florida to live and its the most urban so if ur more focused on growing and not to intrested in the town/atmosphere then id say stick to central and north florida but like i said u could easily sell ur green for extra income at good prices down here.

oh and by the way down here theres still alot of jobs compared to the rest of the florida. I doubt ud have a hard time finding extra work at a restraunt or something.

good info thanks...

honestly its been very tough where im currantly living. I live in upstate NY, GOT SNITCHED ON, and GOT BUSTED. Now im out of all legal troubles but I need to get out of here asap. I work from home on my computer, so i can take that job with me.

I want to grow and sell it, im not looking to be rich, but for the first time in my life im determined not to be poor anymore.

I like the idea of Delray, i dont need TOO much room to my outdoor thing, and i dont mind traveling. But On the other hand id rather live in the middle of fucken nowhere so people will leave me alone lol. Then i can bring it into town and hapefully make some good connects.

Ive been to Missouri...that place is nutz, defiantly the middle of nowhere!!! Im considering that aswell but i love the beach and fisjing..

why do you say your trapped in florida? cant find work that bad?? i doubt its as bad as NY but idk thats why im askin questions. Why exactly are you unhappy in florida? I mean i cant stand the snow, if i cant grow year round there may not even be a point to me moving in the first place. I have a NEED to grow.

yeah i have been unemployed for about 3 years. felony conviction from 7 years ago is preventing me from getting any sort of job. im turned down for everything even fast food.. before i moved to florida i was working a great job making 40k a year and then i decide to move to Florida and im pretty much ostracized.. both my parents lost their jobs so we started selling spice. now thats not going as well as when it first started so now im starting my first grow. I too am sick of being poor living off peanut butter and jelly everyday. Electric gets shut off and we get it back on. behind all the time. thats why i need this grow to turn out at least so i can clone the female and i should be good. seeing im so new to growing anything ill be happy to just get a female to clone lol.

It will be trial and error.

its tough times for alot of people out there right now! I just spend $140 in groceries, and i feel broke again. I figure that will all change if i could grow unrestricted.

Hernando county here...employment sucks, but it's the spot if you are looking for seclusion but still within an hours drive to city life. Can't find work anywhere being a felon though, if the unemployment rate here for a average joe is 15% times that by 5 and that's your unemployment rate if you've got a record out here...i've got youth offender felonies that stay on your adult record, and i've been denied by Mickey d's. Moved out to a mountain town in CO last year for a while to check out the MMJ scene, and got a job as a liquor store clerk handling thousands on a daily basis, mofo's still wont even let me deliver pizza back here! Hella spots in the woods with cheap rent and no close neighbors though.

i hear ya. Aldi food store has become my best friend. I find it amazing that so many people are trying some form of crime to make ends meet..Even people i know who were very big on morals and doing whats right. Amazing what well to survive. Biggest cash crop in the world, we are bound to make money or get arrested in the process lmao.

youth felonies on your adult record? WTF? Ive applied everywhere, you name it? denied. I even begged and pleaded with a guy to hire me and he said its the state not the company that have made it this way. Its not surprising seeing the prison system in the U.S. is the biggest money maker in America. But we do have some gain in legalizing weed. eventually you wont be able to lock everyone up. so I say everyone start growing everywhere. Save your bad seed and throw them out the window as you drive. spread the love lol.

Shheeeeeit I am legit and no felonies no DUI great referances yadda yadda yadda and I still can't find a farkin job.
But I was injured at work acouple years ago and I am permanently partial disabled according to the doctors and I do not tell any employers that and still no calls back nothing. So I said fuck it gave up threw in the towel and applied for disability like my lawyer told me too when I first got hurt. heh It is tuff to admit when you are beat.

im in the same boat...clean record, college educated, great references, spent 10 years at my last job,was in management for 9 years of that and i cant find work here.it seems easier for someone with no education and no work experience to find employment.all is well till they see my last pay rate...i guess they see it as..hire someone..pay them shit pay and let them do the work instead of hiring the guy that knows the job inside and out and would deserve higher pay.then of course when i apply for lower paying jobs its always "your over qualified"...gotta love that shit...we cant hire you...your too smart
:wall:
so i have been doing as much work online as i can..web/graphic design...plus my true goal,my station...but with a shit economy there are no companies that are wanting to dish out advertising costs

Thats so true. my brother who hasnt had a job in his life gets the first thing he applies for. Sure its min wage part time but its still a job. Its gotten to the point where we have to become slave laborers to get anything and even those jobs are hard to get. I tried to get a job picking fruit with the Mexicans but unfortunately the pay is so bad and the distance to drive is so far it would cost me everything to just get there and back. I did find it funny that even the Mexicans leave Florida when the harvest is over cause they know there is no more work lol.
Not trying to glorify in anyone's unemployed despair but it does make me feel better knowing im so not alone in the is struggle.
It really has gotten bad but the worst hasnt even happened yet. I have been wondering if the U.S. in general will ever recover or if looking to move is a better option?

If your looking for graphics program to help you PM me.

ive been considering moving out of this country for the last 10 years when i noticed that things was about to get bad here...and yes its only going to get worse.there isnt going to be a president or a congress in this country thats going to have the balls to make the changes that are needed...not till all these baby boomers die off and the younger generation takes over...when people that are my age...early 30's..takes over..then things will start to change...no matter who takes office now there is going to be someone over their shoulder leading them into corruption

and as for the graphics program..i should be set...i have the entire adobe line, about 10k worth of programs..along with twisted brush, gif animators, photo editors.....unless there is something new out i havent heard of yet

ill tell ya what...i dont have any felonies but i have a dui and a possession of mj charge. both misdemeanors. and im trying to get a job to get my license back. the weird thing is im working for pennies and peanuts now. i work for about 3 different ppl and do a lil bit here and there for them. sometimes i work 50 and 60 hours a week. other times i might go up to two weeks without working. the other thing is is that my wife has a degree and is going to RN school cuz shes working at pizza hut as a manager for minimum wage with a college education. what gets worst with her is when shes a driver she makes 4 an hour and make the driver depend on tips. so at the end of the night after replacing gas she makes like 5 to 10 bucks. they are screwing her really good. lets see what that fraud rick scott is going to do
