Can we defeat Prop 19? will it pass? Is it as bogus as it seems?

already addressed that many times over. you responded by sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting 'nananananananalalalalallalalanananannanananana'.

you have failed in upholding your assertion that prop 19 takes away the rights of medical users. no surprise, there have already been many court cases which upheld the rights of medical users in face of lower limits.

end point: if prop 19 passes, medical users will retain all the rights they currently have under 215.

end. of. story.
You are Wrong....prop 19 does not state medical users will retain all of their prop 215 rights. Nowhere in Prop 19 Does it say that and Nowhere have you proven than. Prop 19 seems to be a way for owners of major grows and the govt to cash in and will lead to many more marijuana users to be incarcerated

I think each side should just agree to disagree. It seems to me that no one is going to change their minds, so we'll just see what happens in a month. I personally am voting yes, I have read the bill and it looks like, to me, that none of my rights will be taken away. In fact, this is going to make all of my friends grow too, and we'll all have practically free weed (excluding nute costs and electric bills) all the time.

explain this...

7. Ensure that if a city decides not to tax and regulate the sale of cannabis, that buying and selling cannabis within that city’s limits remain illegal, but that the city’s citizens still have the right to possess and consume small amounts, except as permitted under Health and Safety Sections 11362.5 and 11362.7 through 11362.9.

8. Ensure that if a city decides it does want to tax and regulate the buying and selling of cannabis (to and from adults only), that a strictly controlled legal system is implemented to oversee and regulate cultivation, distribution, and sales, and that the city will have control over how and how much cannabis can be bought and sold, except as permitted under Health and Safety Sections 11362.5 and 11362.7 through 11362.9.

so does this mean that an 18 year old medical patient can posses marijuana? does this mean that a medical care giver can not be prosocuted for exceeding the 25 square feet or accepting donations to cover expences?

Yes an 18 year old medical patient can posses marijuana, 215 does not get superseded... Yes a care giver, or anyone else with a card can exceed 25 feet, 215 does not get superseded... You legally can accept "donations," but even under the laws 215 put in place you can still get fucked pretty hard if you sell and call it a donation.

very true. the purposes section makes it clear that 215 still stands and the point of prop 19 is to make access EASIER and SAFER for medical patients to get their medicine. the purposes section is especially important because it is used to determine how the rest of the prop is to be interpreted.

beardo and the ruiner don't seem to grasp this elementary concept.

Eh, what can you do. Let people be stubborn. It would really suck for any stoner if prop 19 doesn't pass, it's explained multiple times in this thread why. If people want to argue and keep the things the way are, and not progress towards legalization, let them...

How will this not over ride prop 215 laws whenever it is convienent for the gove & lawyers & law enforcement? The constitution gave us all the right to bear arms but try and use that as a defence....it has been surerseeded and over ridden by other laws that the legal system deems more valid

we already explained this to you. :dunce: read the purposes section again, specifically points 7 and 8. take it to a lawyer for dog's sake. take it to a shaman. put it in a lake, if it sinks it's a witch.

i don't know what else to tell you, man. you are being purposely redundant here.

The way I see it if the prop in questions mentions nothing about amending 215.
Can someone show me where it says "IF WE PASS THIS YOU HAVE TO REDUCE YOUR MEDICAL GARDEN"

From what I understand (Any any time I say this correct me por favor)
Prop 19 is for the recreational use of Marijuana in the state of California.

If any one is opposed to recreational use of marijuana please vote how your heart desires.
If you thought that it would not be regulated and taxed then how do you suppose they control it.

I am for the recreational use of marijuana, I honestly feel the people have been tricked into believe that it can actually harm you.
I would love if I could grow a small patch.
I say Gimme the weed, Tax it Tax it Tax it, but give it to us, stop the lies, free the prisoners.

So what happens to a 19 year old who has an eighth of an ounce of marijuana under prop 19?

If you have your card, nothing. If you don't $100 dollar fine. If you're in San Francisco, Oakland, or Berkeley, nothing. Bay in yo area.

she talked for 9 minutes and never said a thing.

only point she tried to make the whole time was that if 19 passes, medical patients will lose their cultivation rights and be reducd to 25 sq ft. we all know that is a bunch of festering horse shit by now.

i want my 9 minutes back.

so true! just as a demonstration of what you can do with 25 sq ft....

i just build a second grow op in my shower recently. its square footage is 2 feet by 4.5 feet, thus 9 sq ft.

i plan on putting 8 plants in there, and likely getting 2 ounces off each, thus 1 pound.

25 sq ft is PLENTY for any recreational user.

if you need more than a pound every few months (or in other words, 4 pounds of pot per year), then you are quite the pot head.

if anyone wants proof, i will be happy to provide it.

i am right there with you.

as much as marlboro greens sound good, they will be horrible. more money = more corruption... ALWAYS. elections funded by drug money. and most of all you wont be smoking anything pure or close to organic.

how will they keep track of how many plants we actually have inside... will they be checking?! the police wont be coming into my house like nazi and jew shit. not till im dead

inspection is really far fetched but its a lingering thought in my head... recent politics here in the USA have gone kinda socialist and goverment reliant.

way to subjigate your oppinion onto anothers way of life.. lets see, a retired couple (2 people) 4 pounds/12 months = 1lb(16oz)/3month = 5.3oz a month/4.3 weeks (4.3 accounting standrads for any business) = 1.2 oz a week
1oz=28grms
34grams/7
less than 5 grams a day.
that would be for one person, 3 joints... yep major pot head... :( if you had a wife then its half...
