freezer will last months fridge a few weeks think of it like a vegatable good luck and happy toking

i know alot of people that put there nugs in the freezer for storage. id use a vacume sealer to but thats just me

Ive done some recent research on the subject and the experts seem to think air-tight glass jars is the best way to store long term. Either large mason jars or the latchable kind you get at kitchen stores. No need to freeze, some say it will burst your trich's, which is def no good. Store in a cool DARK dry area, should be good for a solid year or 2 assuming you have cured correctly and have no moisture issue's in the jars when you store them. You may want to "burp" the jars every few months to make sure no mold has developed.

i tryed that with out burping and got mold in the freezer no burp no mold. imo

Jars are good, especially if you use a straw to suck out as much air as possible. Also could seal edge of jar with sealing wax to provide better protection. However, the very best way I have found ( I was lucky enough to find one with all supplies at a garage sale ) is a seal-a-meal. This device allows you to decide how big you want bag to be, remove all the air, and create a hermetic seal. I have stored buds with no loss of potency or damage to product for almost a year, and I'm of the opinion that the buds would have lasted indefinitely, and required no refrigeration.

I do agree with 'theworldismine' tho. As long as it has been properly DRIED and Cured, you should be fine with storing it in a couple mason jars for 2+ years or so. Just keep it in a cool, DARK place and you'll be golden.

Oh yeah, seal-a-meals and related supplies can be found readily on ebay and other internet sites, just do a search.

OK i'll talk slow for you with out burping the JAR you get MOLD, but in a freeze you don't have to burm and you never get mold GET IT?this makes no god damn since what so ever!

the water in the cell burst into ice crystals when frozen less water in the bud less cell bursts and all the cells bursting will do is losen the buds cell walls making it easyer to break down so no any damage is nothing bad. get a good freezer bags dubble up on the bags so there is no freezer burn lol

I Haven't heard of any bursting not with your trichomes they might brake off , If your buds are dry and your getting moisture it's
must be coming from your refrigerator or freezer, If your buds are dry. Try putting some rice or those packs you can get at
radio shack in the jar ? I Have too agree that it would be a nice problem to have, cant keep it around that long it seems to

If you are going to freeze it, make sure it is vacuum sealed. It is very important that all air is expelled from the bag. You definitely don't want it to get ice particles on it and you absolutely don't want freezer burn.

I'm on the hunt right now for a vacuum sealer that supports multiple different bag sizes. I've looked on eBay at the seal-a-meal sealers but I'm not exactly sure which will take smaller bags. What is the make and model of your seal-a-meal? Thanks in advance, I'm going to need a sealer in about 3 weeks for my White Widow & Bubble Gum.
