I have read the law plenty and nowhere in it does it say that a legal cardholding patient shall be arrested. My point at the time was that the law was in affect and still officers of the "law" were instructed to arrest people. so I was just saying how long does it take to break through the ignorance.

You are right, the problem is we have not done a good job with the media in most area's and that is what it is going to take, putting our faces in front of the camera. Not an easy task for folks that have been 'under the radar' for decades.
There are have been many instances when LEO did the right thing, we don't hear about those as much. If you have an 'encounter' with a LEO that goes well, please let everyone know. VV
 
Polish,nice thread. Im also from the Mitten. I have recently seen 2 despensaries near me. 1 in Williamston that is a 'congregation.' Also one around the corner, that used to be a Hydro Grow shop strictly, now you can buy Bubblegum for a $100 a 1/4. I thought they were still not approved. What did I miss??
 
I lived in Indiana.Moved to Oregon to be a patient one year ago.Michigan didn't look to good.Cold and strict laws
 
I know Williamston is said to be a church following, $20 membership, all smoke is a donation. Yet its $25 a gram for fake Sour D. The other is right next to my church. I know my church doesnt approve. Bit they have Dr. Kenewell and a few other doc's writing licenses. Then there is a room, with jars, a lady behind the counter. Sellin weed. They take your name, and Id #, for what? I had a few friends go in there for their Rx's. Said it was full of thugs standing around. Hes gonna fuc it up for everyone..
 
New dispensary in Jackson...don't know really anything about it besides the fact that you can get edibles, clones, and a few different strains.
 
I recently moved to Traverse city from jackson, so i haven't had the chance to check it out. Yeah, it's lb's. Did i miss something?
 
From my searching, LB is a caregiver, who also gives patients clones, edibles and their smoke. All in and around Jackson and Lansing.
Traverse! Just left there, well Kewadin. Cuz has a house on Torch. Ready to go back..

So does he have to be your registered caregiver? I'm a little confused. How does give his patients clones...if they can't legally have any because he's there caregiver...
 
I am not in Michigan, but want to be. My household (4 of us) 3 are quaifying patients. We are more country than "city folks". It has been difficult finding house listings. Has anyone ever generated a list of potential landlords that would allow a small grow for the 3 patients? I have to drive 1,000 miles to get to Mich and hate the idea of driving country roads looking for a for rent sign. I want a long term lease (3 bedrooms) and would pay a year of rent in advance. Any leads? I also an artist and would like a work shop/studio which a clean/dry basement would work.
 
I made my decision to move to Michigan after giving much thought into the hand(s) full of States that would allow for a small medical grow. With 3 in my home , the monthly budget here exceeds $1,200 a month (crazy!) that is 2 mortgage payments or a condo on the beach in Miami. Michigan not only provides for a savings (that will certainly enhance our collective lifestyle) assures us a continuous and reliable supply, Michigan in also a great state if you like the outdoors and enjoy nature. From trolling for salmon, jigging Walleye through the ice, golf and if you are into deer hunting, it is a paradise. At this point in my life it is about lifestyle 1st.

as of today i am LEGAL MMJ patient!

so that got me to thinking-
my location is such as to have previously been connected to a large grow (not mine and some years ago)
occasionally it is quite obvious that the local drug enforcement team's helicopter is taking extended periods of time pointed at the house
i'm worried that the will try to "investigate" my household
i would have no problem with them coming to the house but going through my trash and following the old lady around is another ballgame
this won't stop my planned activities but just wondering what you guys think about this type of thing?

She's doing better and thanks for asking. She gets to come home tomorrow :hump:. Been almost 10 weeks now since she had the stroke.lots more rehab to go yet but she's getting stronger everyday.

your legal now so dont worry bout them pointing at yer house. Just stay within the limits and have at it.... :peace:
