as the title says, i looked everywhere to see how many plants could i fit in a 5 gal bucket, if i had to use only that, anybody??

and i have a plant that already has buds, and its been already 9 months and the cycle has ended but it is still alive, i think it turned purple because of the cold that it just passed, what happens if i live it like that? will it die someday of getting old?

answer to first question is ONE! if you put more than one in a pot the roots will tangle and plants will fight for nutes

the second question is that if you leave it long enough it can go to seed, yes even without a male :bigjoint:

well in general most people will try to pot plants together in little pots I would think there is plenty of room for 2 plants in a 5 gallon bucket if your planning on growing em for a short time. They will fight for light but you can lst them so they grow out and recieve equal light just remember theyre eatin for two so you might need to fertilize heavier than you normally would but I'm not sure. 5 gal pots for growing are different than 5 gallon buckets for general use. If your using those for general purpose you could probably do 3 in a 5 gal bucket

now i see pics if you are going to grow more than you should probably start over having little sprouts with the one already established would just result in them getting overtaken and growing one well it might be malke so you wasted your time. Your pot isnt all the way filled with soil if your going to grow multiple plants than you will need all the soil u can get but with that setup i suggest growing one big plant top her early so you get like 4 colas and start with all female seeds or clones.

thank you for your replies, i think i will do that, let this one flower, then start again with around 5. thank you!
