I stuck the drain through tube in the last box's drain just to show an example of how it's gonna' sit. Obviously not that high and not with the 4x4's holding them up.
...just some mock up's so y'all can smell what I'ma cookin'.


The ceiling fan has gotta' go. It's an accident waiting to happen. I didn't like it anyway.


I threw in a pic of the clones this mornin'. I think they still look like shit. No more slime though, yet. Any advise would be welcome.

As for my OTHER women? In the other cab?

I don't wanna' talk about those bitches.
Fuck them and their webs for today.

Is there anyway you could take one or two of the clones and put them in rockwool or something, take them out the box they are in and have a couple of clones on the side, see if they perk up, then you know it's not the clones but the method that needs tweeking.....bit of a long way round to find out but just wanted to throw something out there for ya.
Did you use rooting gel or something similar?

In one of my grows back in the summer I used willow for my rooting, make a little brew from bark and leaf tips(boiling water and let is seep overnight), this contains the natural rooting agent IBA (indolebutyric acid - which is a growth regulator)

Here's some info, perhaps you could put a small Willow cutting in there to help them along.....

The reason is that willow cuttings secrete a kind of magic rooting compound—specifically a hormone called auxin—that stimulates spring growth and encourages the development of roots. This hormone is most concentrated in the tips of branches showing new leaves in early spring. It also happens to be water-soluble, so any willow cuttings in a container of water are literally enriching that water with a substance that promotes root growth. Thus, cuttings of other plants in the same vessel are drawing in the willow’s auxin and responding to it by striking roots. Some rooting powders use artificially made auxin as the active ingredient.


For the best results when using willow to help start cuttings, make your own auxin-rich concoction by gathering a handful of willow branch tips, then chopping them into pieces an inch or so long or mashing them with a hammer. Stuff as many pieces as you can into a small container, add water to cover, and steep for at least 24 hours to make a sort of auxin tea. Strain the liquid and use it to soak cuttings overnight.

Yea, they look even worse now. Maybe light in the tub? Temps? I dunno. I put the pump on a timer 15min. on 15min off.
I'm sure going to do some research today and have a better plan of action tonight.

Hehe, I must admit, this women was having a right good stare at me when I was chopping off some of the branches;-).... we have willows all around the canals so you have plenty to choose from, and they are not on private property either:-P...... Seemingly willows have one of the strongest root systems of any plant. It's best done in the spring though, and the problem is, the tea you make also goes off eventually.

OK, with a heavy heart I must hip y'all to the fact that we(meaning me and my baby)had a safety meeting and decided that it would be in the best interest of the team if the six players in the original scrog cab made room for the next generation. Though technically their chronological harvest would be next week or so. And trichs aren't there exactly yet(IMO) the mites are just too dangerous to risk next harvest. I'm going to need time to dry, sanitize the room, sanitize my shit before I need it in the Funk Box. It's just better for the familia. I'm already fighting these clones and I damn sure don't want a repeat arachnid episode. Fuck Spidermites!:finger:

On the up side the Funk Box ($permitting) should be running by the time the clones are ready for their first ray's of hunka hunka HPS luvin', baybeee!

Well, I think it's too late to do anything about it at this late in flower. Like I said it's a week or so out and I've got 30+ potentials 3 ft away in another cab, and a perpetual behind those, so I better sanitize now while I can, I think.

I'll use Jorge's tanglefoot-on-the-dry-line-trick and do what I can. The bud'll be good:bigjoint: I figure if ya' smoke outdo, ya' smoke mites.
Just not the way I wanted to end it.

I wouldn't imagine any bug is going to hang around on a dead plant, so harvesting is probably the best way to get rid of the prob...good luck bru.

If you are just going to let the buds go at this point your going to have webs of the dam things. When you cut the plants and manicure the buds they will still be in the buds. When you hang them they will leave the buds and look for more vegetation so keep them away from your grow room.

To kill the dam things you need to kill the parents and then when the eggs hatch (about 2 weeks) kill the juveniles before they can lay eggs. So, what ever you use, do it again in two weeks. If you see the little fuckers or not.

atleast you have some clones up n ready to go. once again, i hate mite's i am fortunate enough to have seen those little motherfuckers in time o eradicate their ass out my grow op. oh well. ON to the next ones. just make sure the little shits dont make it to the new cab. u said u were using dont bug me. right? did it not help at all.

Yea, they'll always split once they realize their on a sinking ship. I really thought I was gonna' be able to keep them outa' the box. But I was in a hurry to get those first ones in a controlled environment and didn't filter the passive intakes. Which coincidentally draw directly from outdoors, unfortunately. Lesson confirmed.

Thanks, Cruiz. I hate those suckers too. Their a constant battle in our area on all our outdoor vegetation. My wifes rose garden(150+) is a periodic nightmare. She's a fan of dishsoap for mites and aphids. But I'm definitely feel I'm in the middle of a minefield playin' jax.

Yea, I used Don't Bug Me 3 applications. And it did kill what got hit. The last app was very thorough but alas..
...here we sit.

I'm actually exited to not worry about 'em anymore and to be able to take a more forceful proactive defense as opposed to the reactive. (at least with bugs and diseases)

McFunk, its time to go high tech on those bitches. get a pyrithium bomb (misspelled) or two: non toxic, long lasting, highly effective. its an investment, but one that will pay off.
or you can go severe poison: floramite. it's 100% effective IME, but not cool to use in budding, and dangerous to inhale or come into contact with.

Mites are persistant bastards, but they will pop like bitches if you use the right tools. sure you can neem every 3 days, buts that's harmful to the plant, annoying, and just gross IMO.

BTW mite eggs are born in 3 day generations, not 2 weeks. hence neem oil every 3 days is the suggestion if using. floramite works for 3 weeks hence its efficiency. :peace:

usually when i neem.. i only do it once.. 1tbsp mixed with 1tbsp dish soap.. i foliar til drippin wet, and then i water my plants with the neem solution.. seems to work good.. maybe im lucky in that dept.. definitely not anywhere else.

Then my office gets fuckin' nuked!:fire:

But today...
I smoke big joints, play much music, eat good food, sleep like a baby.
Thanksgiving today.

fuckin' spider mites, there is nothing holy about their existence. you got hit with them demon mites, that would be a more appropriate name. if you hang the plants upside down, all the little devils will come running upwards, their natural inclination. a bit gross to see, really.

Happy thanksgiving funk!

Aye, mites...mites.... dealing with them for the first time myself right now. Went to the store and guy gave me Avid - some serious industrial grade pesticide.

The stuff stays in the leaf tissues for 30 days he claimed, so it's cool that i'm in early bloom. Was $15 for 15 millileters. Seems to have nuked 'em good.

Anyway, the box is lookin funkalicious.. lookin' forward to your holiday harvest. peace
