looking good so far Dave. As an experienced indoor grower might i suggest a few things.. nothing that needs to be done asap but just things to think about in the future that'll help you maximize your potential indoors without going "full-scale". for starters a 2x2 tent is a reeeeally small space to get much flowering out of. i use a 2x2 for clones/veg and a 4x2 for flower for a perpetual 6 plant grow. if youre going to stay indoors id highly suggest getting atleast a 2x4 for flower. i also used to SOG when i had a bit bigger room but since downsizing to a smaller operation i find it more fruitful (pun intended) to grow 6 medium sized bushy plants instead, so a change of method could be another thing to consider. im not familiar with that brand of light your using but i also grow with LED and have used cheap brands before i invested more into it, just make sure you keep that light as far away as you can, like literally put it to the ceiling, most cheap LEDs do not have the proper lens's to have the light within even 24" and not burn your plants, in the future you may want to do some more research and get a higher quality light, whether it be Advanced Platinum, Kind, or a QB, a higher quality light designed and manufactured specifically for growing will make a huge difference.

something i would considering doing asap in your setup is fixing your ductwork, i see you have a large S-turn of ducting in the one picture, shorten that if you can, it will make your fan flow more efficiently.

happy growing!

Hey thanks! That's what this site is about helping each other.

On the 2x2. I usually grow outdoors because of this reason. I have no indoor space. This is a "see what i can do grow". I am looking for a certain yield. But I know i'm limited in this space and that's ok! I wanna push the limits of it.

On the light. While not a cob or a Quantam board I was just interested in actual wattage. I know i'm getting a little over 200w and that's all I need right now. I know with the money I spent on it I could've got a better light but I honestly haven't been in the indoor section in a while so when I saw the Cobs and qbs I was overloaded with technical stuff. I wanted to just get right after it and I know I still have ALOTof learning to do when it comes to those lights. Lol those lights influenced this grow!!!!!

On the ductwork. The "S" is removed and we now have a little "j".

Thank you for taking the time to respond I hope you follow and enjoy and input more!

I was gonna update with pics last night but basically I was trying to decide to transplant 2 from cups into 2 pots that had deformed seedlings and knocked a third healthy seedling out of its cup ‍♂

I transplanted all the cups to pots so i'm back to 10 pots no cups!

Temps are 75low(night) to 81high.

Pics tomorrow.

Also... this grow is inspired by @NapalmD QB grow. Like I said I just got into the indoor so I'm learning about QB and cobs so I can eventually switch this light out.

The QB grow by @NapalmD was crazy for that space and I can only hope to come close.

Thanks man! Means a lot. I'm looking to replicate that grow next month in a tent half as tall with same floor space.

Will be tuning in for that one as well. I've read your thread about 4 times and reread parts every day. It honestly blows my mind.

Everything still good. So far the nodes are so tight. It may be 3 month until I get 6 inches lol. Idk if it's the genetics or light or both but these are gonna be some sort ones. This is my first ever grow with this strain so i'm excited because every plant is right at the same pace, looking similar I can't wait to flower these ladies. I watered yesterday. Will not water today since tomorrow will introduce the pbp at recommended dosage. I really want to feed the helllll out of them.

What's up my dudes! (And dudettes )

I took a break from RUI. Tried to stay away from you guys because you are all so inspirational... but you got me. See, every summer I've been doing outdoor grows, it's been a ritual. Order seeds, setup a little spot indoors to get the girls ready before I toss em into the wilderness to get all big and beautiful on me. This year things are different. They have to be. I got my grand plan for the year and when I finally thought I was ready to go...I wasn't. Physically and mentally I just couldn't pull myself to get started.

So I had this idea floating around in my head. Bring my grow inside? Grow on a small scale inside? I pushed it out of my head. I was trying to convince myself I couldn't grow inside and I knew digging around here I'd find a way to make it happen. So I avoided the site. Until last week in the middle of a blunt of afgoo I logged in and started digging. A few hours after digging I had a list. A few days after my list I have a pile of grow equipment sitting in my family room. So follow me along as I put all this crap together and see what this outsider can do inside!

Tent
24"x24"x48"

Light
250w LED

4in Fan With Carbon Filter (idk if I will use)

Pots

1 Gallon Smart Pots X 10

Medium
FFOF
CoCo
Perlite

Nutrients
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom

Seeds
Dragon Kush X Grape Ape(Headlights(ttm)

Method
I have about 50 to 70 seeds. Should all be female. Idk if they will all germ but I plan on running through them all. I may not document every seed but the first two or three runs I will update through this so you guys can see me get comfy with this strain.

I will be doing a SOG method. I plan on vegging these between 6 and 12 inches then flipping to flower. I will feed half strength nutes right before and through flower flushing the final week.

I hope you guys are ready for some fuuuuuun. I'm excited to be hanging with my new indoor friends. Welcome this outsider! Pics of the setup tomorrow!!
I was in kind of the same situation.. grew outdoor guerilla style for years but then sold our farm and moved to a new area that I know nothing about.. so, I bought a tent and some other equipment and set up shop. It is definitely a lot different growing indoors. Plants are more touchy with nutrients, pests, temps/humidity.. and you'll get nowhere near the yields you did growing outdoor. From what I've read, my plants are yielding decent indoor but not the 3-5lb monsters that I could grow outdoors. It'll take some getting used to and you might go thru a learning curve but it's better than not being able to grow this year!

Hey man thanks for tuning in! I was just talking to the old lady about this last night. Usually I would have been in the brush by now like you said tending to some big girls lol this time last year my plants were almost the size of my tent lol.

So far I like it though. From what I've read, and for me...LED is the way to go. This is almost a turnkey system. All I do is water. I'm excited about the quality as well. So far they are so beautiful but this was expected which is why I got 100 seeds lol.

Lol.. I feel ya. I would always start my plants in January sometime and also start hiking out to my plots at night clearing brush, maintaining my paths, digging holes(if the ground wasn't frozen lol) and building fencing out of the brush I'd cut. It always gave me something to do during winter when I'd normally trapped inside.
We had this bush called autumn Olive everywhere around the farm. Fields of it. It would grow to about 15' tall and had 1"-2" thorns. Prime copperhead and rattlesnake territoru. Nobody in their right mind would venture into that stuff.. even if spotted from a chopper, the cops would never hike thru that stuff to chop some plants. I miss it a lot.
Don't get me wrong, I like growing inside.. especially not having to worry about weather and humidity the last few weeks before harvest. Sorry for rambling about it.. lol just haven't talked about that in a while. Good luck with your grow! I'll be watching this thread for sure.

Are you growing organically or using chemical ferts?
Botanicare pure blend pro Bloom soil formula. They say it's natural and organic based so....idk lol. I have experience with it and everyone whos smoked bud grown with it always talk about the flavor how incredible it is and say it taste so "organic" lol I swear. Each grow I felt like I didn't use enough and I would be way over the recommended dosage but they would be so beautiful and green. I will be pushing the limits with this stuff this time.

I kept having issues when using chemical ferts so this run I made a super soil and aside from using a fish emulsion and molasses as a boost mid flower, all I've had to do is water. Chopped my first plant tonight and could definitely notice a difference.. hoping it smokes just as good as it looked while trimming.

Believe it or not I was wanting to make subcools super soil but... keeping a journal is spotlighting my laziness for me lol. But i'm sure you will notice a difference.

Was planning to update later but I had a few questions. So I was going to veg the ladies until 6in tall...but sitting here looking at them I was wondering. I'm at 2.5 to 3 inches average. New growth(especially underneath) is exploding and I feel like I will have some bushes at 6in. @whitebb2727 mentioned I could overgrown my area. Take a look at the pics and weigh in. My original plan would be to flip this coming up Sunday. I introduced the PBP at half recommended transition dosage. I will let them "dry out" tomorrow and hit them with the same dosage every water until the flip. Then I will go half recommended full bloom dosage and ease into the full dosage.
