5 o'clock's subcooled garden.....

I decided I wanted to chop today and so I did. I was going to wait til friday but I didn't want to mess with the plants while my son was here. I spent an hour or so this morning picking off the leaves because there were so few and since the smoke is for me I want to smoke bud. I know some of the leaves have tric's on them and i may try some hash with it but I didn't want to just trim them back to the bud I wanted them gone.
The buds are huge and very weighty, I'll be smelling my hands the rest of the day wishing 2 weeks would pass in the blink of an eye.....

Thanks my friend and welcome to my garden. Sheer will power is something I'm known for. I have a drive that can't be stopped once I put my mind to it. It pulled me through some tough times in the military when my body just wanted to curl up and die my mind wouldn't let it becauser I kept telling myself I can't be broken.....

Smoke report will be coming around mid to late October for the Ch 1&2 and JTR#2. The JC 1&2 and JTR#1 are 2 weeks behind and the Snow Dawg is 2 weeks behind that. I have yet (out of 4) to get a female Vortex and MY DQ#5 doesn't have a root system big enough for soil yet so it may be late Nov or sometime in Dec before I get that one.....

My pollenation took as the branches I used have started to turn their hairs to a orange and shrivle up. It looks like some may have gotten on branches that I did not intend for them to. I moved them out of the room but pollen is so small that it can become airborn with a breath. The trays were almost bone dry so they got watered with a good soaking. I will be leaving next week so I need to see if they will require water every 48 or 72 hours. I have someone to take care of them so I don't have to worry about rigging up something that probably wouldn't have worked and i would have come home to a bunch of dead plants. With the last tray that went in I now have 18 in flower.

I moved 2 more Ch's into the tray that only had 2 plants in it. The roots take fast and I will be able to put it in when I get back. I had talked to my hydro guy about the DQ#5 (tomato plant #5, he knows what I'm talking about but I don't dare say it outloud in his shop) He suggested that I try to root them in soil and maybe the constant water was to much for them, so I put the one with roots showing and the other one that was in the same cup into soil. We shall see what happens. Hopefully they don't die. I have several more Ch's that are showing roots and will be ready for trays before I leave.

I threw out 8 more clones that looked like shit even though the tops looked fine, I just don't have the time for such pathetic looking plants to come around. I took about 20 more cuttings from various mothers and filled the cloner so hopefully I will have a bunch of rooted clones when I get back.

The Vortex and one of the Grapefruit have poped through the soil and look healthy. The other Grapefruit broke open and a very small piece of the tap root was visible but it did not shoot out like the others. I went ahead and put it in soil anyway and I will see what happens.

My harvest is drying nicely and should be ready for the jars before I leave. I gathered the seeds of my favorite plant that I pollenated with the SD and will grow those out at some point.

It's late and I didn't mess with the cloner and I checked to make sure it was on before I left the room. Now I think I'll go to bed.....

Yes i did. It's actually a pond pump moving water not air. I have the air stones in my 5 gallon bucket that I keep my water in for the plants. I try to get it as saturated with oxygen as i can before i give it to them.

PORN!!!!! Th Ch #1 is soooo covered in tric's it looks like a white strain..... My camera doesn't do them justice. The new Vortex are up and so is the Grapefruit by Reeferman. The other GF was a dud, another victim of damage in the mail. What I thought was the tip of the tap root was actually white goo. I squeezed it tonight after digging it out of the soil and the insides were mush. I put another one in to germ, I always like to have 2.....

I rigged up the UV light tonight but will find a better way to mount it as I'm not keen on how I put it up but I had no other choice at this time.
