What weighs exactly 200 grams?

beam bar and finger scales dont tell you what it weighs to a fraction of a gram so....

My scale needs to be recalibrated. Problem is I need a 200 gram wieght. The store near my house doesn't have them (They should. They sold me the damn scale) and ordering online is out of the question. Anyone know anything that weighs exactly 200 grams?

On aside note, I tried measuring it out with 1 cup of sugar (Supposedly right around 198-200 grams and I got it to where it comes within .2 grams accuracy per gram. (Meaning when I put something on that wieghs 1 gram it reads 1.2. When I pet something on that is 5 grams it reads 6 grams. And it won't let me calibrate it again. I've tried adding sugar, and subtracting suggar, but it always stays right around .2 off per gram. Any ideas?

Update: Picked up some nickels. It's deffinately the scale. I calibrated it with 40 nickels and I pulled them off one by one. It didn't move from 200 until I took off 6 nickels. That means a spring or something in it is broke? I'm broke as fuck and need a scale. Anyone have a how to fix it guide or do I gotta go buy a new one?

I wouldnt get one in a smoke shop or head shop i would rather get one off of ebay for under 20 dollars they have lots for 10-15$ with free shipping

get a long stick. tie a string to the center. tie a baggie to each end. hang it by the string. put a nickel in one baggie. add bud to the second baggie until the stick hangs evenly. that should be 5 grams.

jus weigh increments under 200 grams, like 50 g a time. if ur weighing over 200 g at a time, then you ain't broke. who needs to weigh that much at once and doen't have a top of the line scale? you can't mess around giving and takin tenths or grams here and there.

You're not getting it. It's not that I need to wiegh over 200 grams. The scale is broke.

Thanks everyone. I like the stick idea but I move small weight so I don't want to short anyone at all if I can avoid it.

Do they sell scales at walmart? If so how much, and what section would they be in?

They only sell postal scales and they are 1g scales.

Digital scales are cheap. You can buy one from amazon.com for less then 10 bucks.

Why would you need that precise amount of a scale, for the most part how often do you need past .1, if you sell real small amounts maybe you'd want .01 but if anyone ever asked me for something past that like .125 or something I'd slap them

Actually I hand build R/C airplanes out of contest grade balsa. Every microgram counts.
