thanks polishfalcon. my veg area is about 4 x 3 split into two levels with a shelf (above shelf clones and germinating plants/below shelf for mothers). my flowering area is about 5 x 5 and it's getting pretty crowded these days.

thanks, choppr. i've got my fingers crossed!! my last grow was nothing but fluffy popcorn buds so i'm looking forward to some weight.


it's funny you say that, strictlyrude. in anticipation of having a really stinky grow, i installed an ozone generator in my room for the supergirls. now i can't smell shit!! even when i put my nose right on the buds, i don't smell anything. does anyone know if the ozone generator will permanently remove the smell from my girls??? that would really suck!

Great stuff! I'm growing the same strain with a very similar setup. First grow in a few years though so its been a bit rocky. I topped to late and 2 got VERY bushy, shading out others. I'm about 1 week into 12/12 now. I like that your a few weeks ahead of me so I can see whats to come.

BTW, I'm having a bitch of a time cloning, trying again tonight with distilled water. You seem to have no problems cloning SG?

i'm having no problems at all cloning the supergirl. i have six cuttings that have roots going everywhere. i'll take some pics tonight. but something really bad has happened to the mother plant. i looked in on her one day and she was wilted badly and falling over. i cut most of the branches on her and changed out the nutrient solution so hopefully she'll come back. but if not, i'll use one of the clones as the new mother.

Are yours smelling? I'm getting a pretty strong skunky/citrus kinda smell.

hey, choppr.........i'm seeing a lot of bud sites too, but they're really not swelling up like i expected. i actually wanted bigger buds and less bud sites. i don't smell too much skunk but they have a very citrus/lemony smell. but i do have the ozone generator which may be blocking a lot of the smell.

wassup, nute.......to be honest i've only used buckets in all my grows. i'm getting a rubbermaid tote ready to transplant some clones into, so i'll know soon. i do know that you can grow some huge plants in the buckets......not really sure how big they will get in the tote.

thanks, zigzag. they are about 3.5-4 ft tall. i should have topped them twice so they wouldn't get as tall. buds are getting bigger and harder. i wonder what type of yield i will be getting as well. right now i would guess a couple of ounces per plant. they are smelling real sweet now and no the ozone generator is not directly in the room with my girls but in an adjacent room where i have a shelf and some equipment. good thing too because when the ozone generator comes on this bright light comes out the side of the unit. i just noticed the light because i always leave when it fires up.

hey, R1b4z01d. i don't have a clue how much longer. i'm in my 6th week of 12/12. i haven't even looked at the girls under the microscope yet. i'm hoping they should be done in 4 - 5 weeks.

sorry late with weekly update. been hard at work the past week. needed to move my girls around to make room for more i'm putting into flowering next week. went ahead and put up the shiny stuff so i could get as much light coverage as possible. seems to have increased my light by at least 25%. buds still have a lot of white hairs and looks like i might have a while to go. i was hoping to be done in the next 2-3 weeks but we will see.

RIP to my supergirl mother plant!! she served her purpose well! gotta figure out how to make the mother live longer next time. got some good cuttings off of her before she kicked the bucket though. one of my last six cuttings died because i screwed up and let them dry out too much when i removed the dome. i built up a homemade tub to put the last cuttings in for a little less than $10. it looks like it's working out pretty well. last pic is my arsenal of nutes.

preciate the +rep!! i couldn't quit now if i tried!! plants are taking off now that the mylar is up and the temps are down. starting to get a little orangish color on the buds and they are getting harder and harder. hopefully, i will be finished in the next 3-4 weeks.

what's up, raef?? come join the club........it's great therapy!! actually i'm kinda stuck on this technique because it seems almost foolproof.
it's basically, put some water in a bucket, turn on the lights and watch em grow!!

as for germing products, i don't know of any except for a moist paper towel and a dish to put it in. seeds should germ in 3-5 days from my experience.

the nutes im using are FloraNova grow/bloom, LiquidKool Bloom ripening formula, powder KoolBloom ripening enhancer, hygrozyme, overdrive(bud blood and big bud earlier in flowering)

post up your grow once you get it started!
