Just ripped out the two males. I totally fucked up and broke the main stalk of my runt. Arrg! I duct taped it back together. I guess i'll see in a week if it's healing or not. I'm going to mist it so it won't lose as much water as normal.
I plucked a few large fan leaves from the males, i'm going to let them dry in my humidity box I use for the clones. I'm hoping maybe I can use them to roll later on. Cannagars!

I have identified 2 females so far. The front to plants on the left, my runt and my skunk both have pistols now.
The two sativas still show nothing yet.
I'll take macros of the pistols later.
My runt that I broke the main stem on seems to be doing ok, it seems stiffer now, and the top parts are still growing. I'll give it a few more days to heal. After that I need to do some serious LST on it, being unrestricted it is shooting up.

Btw for those who are wondering, I got my seeds from Nirvana. Shipping was about 7 days, both the envelope and the charge show no connection. Expect a currency conversion fee from your bank though, mine was 1%. My germination rate was 60%.
The clones are 18 days old. They all have roots now, clearly visible at the bottom of the clear containers. I removed them from their humidity chamber because it was starting to grow mold, no more need for it. They're sitting in my grow box now, where the two males used to be, still in their cups. I'll transplant soon.
I decided to stick them directly into the flower chamber, and forgo keeping a mother plant. I will just get more seeds if I want to start another grow.

I just stuck the lid underneath that came with the bin. It has about a half an inch of slope on it, my soil will be a swamp before it ever overflows.
That's cool, I didn't know there were journal competitions. I try to make a journal that is as clear as possible, from the perspective when I was a newb first starting out, this is the kind of journal I would want to read.

Here are pics of the clones in the grow box. They're a little shocked going from low light/high humidity to high light/medium humidity.
I stuck the other three lights in there. When I have the door closed on the grow box, I can only have eight CFLs on else it gets too hot. I manually turn on the other lights when I keep the door open.
Here is the tally-
Door closed:
(7) 26 watt 2700k CFL
(1) 23 watt 5000k CFL

Door open:
(7) 26 watt 2700k CFL
(4) 23 watt 5000k CFL

As I said I decided to forgo keeping a mother plant. Now everything is on a 12/12 light cycle. I have 4 main plants in there, and 10 clones. Hopefully, if the last two sativas turn out to be female, i'll have 14 flowering plants I will be able to harvest throughout the summer at different times. This should allow me to have a harvest once every week or two.
The clones are probably going to be root bound soon, I may use that to stall their growth until I have more canopy space. I already have larger pots ready that i'll probably toss the runt and skunk clones into, since they have shorter flowering times then sativas. We'll see what happens
Oh yeah, forgot to add- 100% clone success rate. All my clones grew roots. w00t w00t!!!

I'm keeping them in the cups right now to purposely stunt their growth. With 4 plants growing they have covered most of the grow area with a nice canopy about 8 inches from the soil. The clones are shorter then that, and wouldn't get much light if planted directly into the soil at their current stage.
I figure if I do it this way I can control their growth by stopping root development, and by the time one or two of the main plants are ready to be harvested, I can stick them in the ground and let them finish out their flowering.
What i'm hoping is the clones stay in the preliminary stages of flowering for as long as possible. The two faster flowering strains i'll give them bigger pots and eventually stick in the ground first before the sativas, which take longer.
It's the best I can do with only 4.875 square feet of grow space. I may be limiting my yield with the clones, but i'm hoping that since there is 14 plants it will still give me a good amount.

Stage 2: I'll have the skunk & runt clones in larger pots to start up their main flowering cycle. The only 2 main plants are the two sativas. I have the sativa clones kept small.
Stage 3: The two sativa main plants will be harvested. I'll transplant the skunk & runt clones into soil so they can fully grow and flower. I'll put the sativa clones in larger pots and start to speed up their flowering.
Stage 4: I'll harvest the skunk & runt clones in soil, and plant the remaining sativas in soil for them to fully grow and flower.

For nutes I gave them nothing during vegetative cycle, because the soil already contains it's own slow-release nute "pellets" which dissolve over time. That gives them a low dose of whatever it needs.
For flowering i'm feeding them 4-8-4 strength nutes from my MG Bloom every time I water, which is 4 days or so. I'm not on a strict schedule, I go by what my moisture meter says. I'm keeping nutes conservative because they arent fully into flowering, I think they're still into their adjusting phase.
