That's what I used yes. Speaker wire may not have adequate insulating properties.

What I like about the round cable jacket is the option to use a strain relief connector. There's nothing about it being 'speaker wire' that should change the properties of copper, right. I think Loki uses 'speaker wire'.

yep, sounds like a bad driver. Did you try it with just three boards? If it works with three, adjusting the Vo might help. This driver should have just enough voltage to run 4 boards

You know, when Frank was looking for some QB 304 I was yeah yeah! Me too! And was disappointed there were none to be found. Well, today I took a trip out to my storage unit. i have a bin with some QBs and stuff in it. I knew I had 2 QB 324s and a couple 288s. What I did not have the slightest memory of was 4, QB 304s! Hot damn! I can expand my QB 304 light! I even had made a deal for a pair of drivers before I even knew i had them! Talk about coincidence!

Ive never had a meanwell fail yet, although im probably due.... lots of airflow on my lights keeping things cool is what i attribute to my success as certain meanwells can get damn hot.....

and youve had more then 1 fail frank? without even working from the get go??? have you checked voltage on output? most meanwell failures usually happen after years of use but i suppose anything is possible

No... They kept sending me the wrong drivers... They would refund the money and let me keep the drivers, but what was I going to do with them,is what I was thinking at the time... This is the first one to not work at all... A new one will be here Monday... Let's hope that it works...

hmm weird ive also never received the wrong driver, shitty luck...... what driver were you trying get running with the 4-132s?
