Led lights watts advertised vs actual watt output???

Average oz around here is 250-300 doll hairs.. I am under that total for,my whole set up. So if I can get an oz. Total. I'm more than happy.. I set my bars low... Less disappointment that way lol

Ya.. I call it the "murica" board. Reds whites and blues lol. I'm going to finish this grow under it. Then have one start to finish under it. And see where it stands.. As of right now. Its plenty of light for my,needs. I was happy this lights made of,metal and not cheap plastic
Yes it looks like a little time was put into it...and 4 fans should help keep it cool too...they prob could of used 2, but I like that it has 4...well worth $70 IMO

I do it that way too...investment equals how many oz's...can I get that...ummmm...lol
Here its about $150-200/oz and up if online shopping

Exactly. Actually the well built frame.. The actual wattage and the quad fans are the main reasons I got it. Has 2 inlet fans and 2 outlet fans.

Haha that's how ive been looking at it. If it can save me,money in the long run.. That's really the point. I'm a heavy smoker and I hate dishing out money to other people. This way I can have my own and not worry about it

I mean there's people who can have rooms full.. I just dont have that option.

Man.. Of be lucky to get a half for 150 ..lucky
Ya I'm limited on space myself...my room is 8x8 feet but I wanted to do perpetual grows and 4 tents just wouldn't work in this room...so made a big box with 4 2x4 foot boxes in the 1 big one...each is only 40" in height so I did a bit of custom building of my hyrdo setup so it all fits...2 plants every 35-ish days...around 2oz each makes me happy and fills my script nicely :P

That's pretty cool. Wish I had room. After this run ill be switching to all autos so I don't have to worry about different light cycles for different plants. If I do it right I should be able to have a rotation of 2 and 2 plants

I've been strain hunting . trying to get somthing not to big and finishes faster on average.I have a sweet gelato I have started but it had a shitty "birth" popped its shell and was borderline undeveloped/premature. But got advice on here to wait it out.. It bounced back but easy 2 week set back

I have 6 strains...3 clonable now and 3 still growing up.
I'm trying a Gorilla Glue #4 feminized seed now...well 2 clones of the mother, but it seems to be going ok.
I also do super cropping, LST and scrogg'd this time so the height is about 6" from panel (top of pot) to scrog net and tops raise about 3-4" from there...figure about 6-8" colas when done. x 2 plants.

Sweettttt looking nice. Next I have to figure out odor control. Closets not sealed off and they are sliding doors. Running ducts is not an option either. So I have some googling to do

Maybe take the original doors off...leave the permanent hardware pieces if needed...build a thin/small frame for couple small doors/bi-fold doors ?
Then cover any open areas with thin 1/8" board.
Then you could run ducts in and out of the doors in some way I'm sure...in near bottom...out near top...or what ever...lol
I have a similar problem for my closet...2 sliding doors and its 2x4 feet but goes up 8 feet so I use top area for storage and put shelves about 6 feet up. I still have to do doors for it but soon I should have it ready to start up...gonna make it a mother room for 3-4 mothers if I keep them kinda small...I hope...lol
For now I'm just using the sliding doors and fight around them for now...just have a few clones in there now under 8x32W 4' florescent lights on looooong chains. :P

Haha the wife would slit my throat if I took "her doors" off..

... but I think if it gets you 2 oz plants then it more then paid for itself...and you could even buy another and put 2 in your tent ...
DGNH - the specs show 10 IR diodes. Two of those LED's would give you 20 IR's which seems like a lot for your 6 square foot grow area. Too much IR can "sunburn" the plants. So before getting a second one, perhaps one of those LED's fixtures with some supplemental lighting might be a better option.

You mentioned a few posts back that you have 4 100 W CFL bulbs. Are they 100 W equivalent bulbs that only draw 23 real W? Or do they actually draw 100 W per bulb?

They are 100w not eq and I believe this light will do just fine by its self. It already has them budding. And the buds are getting bigger and more plentiful every day. . they haven't gotten any ill signs of light stress. They are healthy as can be
